In this guide, we will be making this game more fun, and stress-free. This is the guide for those who still want the challenge but want this game to go little easy on you. (Damn those rush-hours) So please ask question if you don't understand anything. I know that I am little late, but I have just bought this game and its sequel last week. Sorry for being late!

Notice that none of the changes we are going to perform will disable the achievements. They are tied in with the variables of the file. However, ethically you know we are taking a shortcut so I would say don’t play into the leaderboard to gain an unfair advantage. These changes we are going to make are ONLY for the ‘Career’ portion. So, use this only if you want to complete your ‘Career’ faster. And I won't take responsibilty for your Steam ban if you are found to be cheating, so again use this only & ONLY for the Singleplayer portion.
STEP 1: Disable the Steam Cloud
To get the save file to be created you will need to first start the game with the Steam Cloud functionality ON. Then, play a 'New Game' or existing one, that doesn’t matter. Complete the 'Day 1 Task,' or wherever you are on your game’s 'Career.' Then 'Save & Quit' the game. Your save file will be created, however in a Steam Cloud. Now, go to game’s properties (Steam Library > Cook, Serve, Delicious!> Right-Click to choose Properties). If you are there, go to Updates tab and disable the Steam Cloud by unticking the checkbox.
STEP 2: Find the gameID
Now please refer to this; in order to find your Save file, you need to know the unique gameID which Steam assigns to every game. To find this code, go to your desktop and right-click on the game’s icon to open its properties and look for its URL, it will look something like this “steam://rungameid/247020.” This “247020” is your gamesID.
STEP 3: Find your userID
Ok, if you have got to this far, now go to wherever your Steam folder is. Mine is on D: drive. Open Steam, please look for userdata folder and open your Steam userdata folder. This, too, is uniquely assigned so if you have multiple Steam accounts or someone else also uses Steam to play games on your PC, then you need to find your correct Steam userID. If that is the case, go here Steam ID Finder[steamidfinder.com] and follow search with either your Steam gamertag, or gamertag url or anything you wish. Then your Steam userID is written next to “steamID3”. You only need to know the nine digits portion after U:1:
STEP 4: Find the correct file
Now, open the userdata folder and then open the folder with your steamID. Next, search and open the folder which corresponds to this game’s ID. You should see three files. The file “CdataICBKfile,” contains game option and UI related values in a double variable form. The other file “CdataKEYfile” contains the conditions for food and in-game events such as robbery and intervals for a customer asking for a particular food if that food is on your menu, that is. We do nothing with these unless you want just to mess around. The file we need is to be called “Cdata1file” or whichever save slot you are playing. For instance, if you have started the game with ‘Save Slot 2’ then this file would say “Cdata2file.” Now we open the file in the notepad or equivalent software that can make changes. It is in this file where most essential game variables reside. These variables are the wait time, checklist requirements, chore frequency, and time to prep the food, etc.
STEP 5: Manipulate the variables
Once you open this file, then you will see many variables are very easy to understand. I leave everything else by default, and things I change are 'Customer Pateint' , 'Higher Chore Timer' ,and 'Bank Balance' to buy new items and food varieties when they unlock in the ‘Career’ mode. Otherwise, the game will become very easy. I leave you guys to experiment with other variables since you can guess what these variables might be related to in-game. To those who only want the patient customers, and extended chore timer and some vital bank balance, then here what you need to do.

  • To change the impatient customer to patient customer, do this;
    Look for: [CTMR]
    Change: Gcustomerwaitvar to Gcustomerwaitvar=6240.000000

    {Make sure that there isn’t space in between the equal sign, and yes, this is the highest value you
    can set up to
    .}

  • To change the timer for chore, do this;
    Look for: [CTMR]
    Change: Gchoreswaitvar to Gchoreswaitvar=240.000000

    {Again, this is the highest you can set chores to.}

  • Lastly to get the whatever money you desire, do this;
    Look for: [MEURT]
    Change: GEULAvar to GEULAvar=9978.000000

    {You can put any amount but 4 digits always an excellent option.}
FINAL STEP: Complete your inputs
Now to wrap these changes, save your ideal file with your changes. Now go back to your Steam game library, and enable the cloud functionality for this game. This way the changes will be uploaded, and you will be able to enjoy your game without any frustration. So, this how you make changes to stuff in-game. You are not limited. Therefore, you can do whatever changes you want. But these three changes alone make the game fun and not frustrating, that is why I didn’t change other variables. Thank you and enjoy your day chefs!

~ Cheers,

No problem, thanks for your answer, I don't use software like cheat engine, I'm just going to train a bit more.

Hey dude, I have left the game long time ago. So I don't remember half of the files and how things inside it worked. But from what I remember for Iron Cook mode, only way to do this was with Cheat Engine. Cheat engine get a specific hex value that changes per mode, and lock it. Sorry, can't help you. Plus, I moved my desktop in my university, so I have no access to it until Tuesday. My bad.
