Browning Auto-5 / Remington Model 11

Created by John Moses Browning, who called it his greatest achievement, the Auto-5 was the first successfull semi-automatic shotgun and the first to enter mass production. Featuring a 4-round magazine tube with the ability to hold a 5th round in the chamber, the Auto-5 went to see widespread use throughout the 20th Century in both private and military roles until production was discontinued in 1998.
