NOTE: Empyrion Mechanics have changed a lot since this was first built. At this point, the Aetheria LXS is barely more than a pretty shell, and will take extensive internal reworking in order to fly again. If you like the physical appearance and don't mind giving the mechanical parts a serious overhaul, by all means, proceed to download. Otherwise, I recommend using the T4 Aetheria prefab included in the game.

Or upgrade to CrazyZ's Phaetusa instead - a phenomenal rework that improves on the Aetheria in practically every way.

Alpha 7 has introduced a new change in BP spawning - SV/HV vessels must have "enough room" on a BA or CV to spawn. For this reason, I have created the Aetheria Flightpad, which is specially sized to accommodate the Aetheria LXS ship. However, any landing pad of sufficient size will do.

UPDATE: A version of this ship was added as a T4 prefab with the Nov 8 patch.

The 'LTS' version has slightly different performance and cosmetic changes, owing to the devs' request that the ship's thrusters should be exposed. Please note, the 'LXS' model here is not the same as the prefab!

When the SV warp drive was introduced, I said to myself "It's about time I tried something Big." I've wanted to do a large-scale SV for some time, but never quite had reason or motivation to do so until now.

I owe a lot of thanks to the following people (Even if they don't realize it!)
► Zerbarus - whose Asura SV showed me what was possible with fancy circuits
► McFluffFace and Pyston - whose large-scale SVs provided helpful inspiration and design cues when doing the interior.
(Yes I shamelessly stole Fluff's toilet design. It's a brilliant little detail and I couldn't think of anything better myself. Kudos to you, Fluff!)
► Fractalite - whose encouragement, advice, and feedback kept me going on this mini-monster long past the point I would've ordinarily burned out and given up on the idea.

Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't also thank everyone here on the workshop who's taken the time to comment on or upvote my submissions. I appreciate the feedback more than you guys know.
