I have experienced an interesting bug with the Room 3 - every time I exit the cave, I appear inside it, not on top of the exit, and just fall down to the entrance. Sadly, this game is so unpolished and buggy at times...

After finishing the game, i dont think the three symbols at the top of the 1st and 4th wall are ships. they seem to represent the 3 leaders atop the tower, one of whom was corrupted and attacked the others and spread the corruption across the world. but seeing as how this game never says any words i can see how you came to your conclusion. until getting to the end and seeing the symbols above the three chairs, and the headgear of the people in said chairs, i actually thought that the left symbol represented the sprites, the middle one represented the masked race (you have little dangly bits on your hood that look kinda like that) and the third one was some other race that betrayed the other two.
