This is showing you how to unlock the Prison Safe in Home Sweet Home! It took me a little while to figure it out, but I finally got it and am trying to help others who may get stuck in the same spot!

Step By Step On How To Unlock The Safe!

Need help figuring out how to unlock the safe? Watch this video here !

If you would prefer text, read below!

Basically there are 3 numbers, you have to read them upside down. Mine were 06, 09 and 01. So upside down they were 90, 60, and 10.
The ARROW you see on the bottom of the lock drawing tells you to use that number.
The number directly below 90 was 40. 60 was 10 and 10 was 60!

The numbers DO change for each person, but all you have to remember is this:

Read the numbers upside down.
Go to the first number you read upside down.
Now look at the number directly below at the bottom of the lock.
Go to that number and confirm the selection!

Finally got it. Horrible puzzle. Had to look in different angles, upside down, and whatever, but I don't think I've ever been annoyed till I came across this one.

Should be 30 10 60 (you get to 80 60 10 via turning the numbers upside-down, then add or subtract 50).

I figured my code out. It was 06, 09, 08… worst code ever. What annoys the crap out of me, is the underline. The underline is supposed to denote the direction in which the numbers are read . So if 09 were really meant to be read as “60”, the line should’ve been on the top to imply such. Really dumb “puzzle”.

I also forgot to add, if you're at 80 and the arrow is pointing at 30, you MUST select 30 and NOT 80. Then you follow the same steps as the other numbers.

As Axl has mentioned:

If the numbers show 08, 06 and 09 -- if you were to turn the number set over, they appear as 80, 90 and 60. (As if the numbers are standing, then you flipped it on their head.) Once you have 80, 90 and 60, you'll now look where the arrow is pointing at (OPPOSITE) of the number.

Move the dial to 80, where is the arrow pointing? Move the dial to 90, where is the arrow pointing? This applies to any of the numbers.

And by flipping upside down, it doesn't mean simply invert numbers like 06 becoming 60 no.
Imagine you're flipping your screen instead so that 6 become 9 and 06 become 90.
