Preface
So...... here we are again. I really don't know what you expect me to write here, so you can just go check what I've put on my "CSX: Heavy Haul" guide and come back.

Or if you prefer you can skip that whole thing and continue reading, as I'm pretty sure that at this point you're already checking the maps & screenshots of the collectables.
Before you start
Here are a few tips before you start hunting for these new collectables. Most of these tips come from my CSX guide, as they pretty much apply to this case too.

First, decrease the foliage quality in your graphical settings from whatever you have it and set it to "Low". This will turn off most foliage and make it easier to spot what you're looking for. There's this time an interesting bug: while in the settings you see it set as "low", it seems foliage slowly goes back up overtime, so you'll have to set it to low again in the future.

Next, you need to know how these collectables look like. This time around, there are 3 different types of collectables along the route. You'll be looking for Safety Signs, Dispatch Batons and Route maps. Some can be found easily, others will require some effort, as they'll be very well hidden behind buildings or they'll blend in with the environment. Just finding them is not enough. You'll have to walk up to them, and once you're close enough, the game will automatically award you the discovery.

Contrarely to CSX: HH, this time all the collectables are on the stations along the route. Only 17 of the stops have collectables. Contrarely to CSX: HH's guide, this time this guide will be structured per station, showing all the collectables that are there. I'll put a map showing where the station is, and screenshots of all the collectables.

Final thoughts
Here's what the game should be showing you once you find all the collectables:

At this point it's hard to deny that DTG will add collectables to future DLCs. In theory, as long as I have energy and patience, you'll see one of these guides pop-up.

I want to thank the few people who helped me by giving some locations and telling me sometimes how many collectables of a specific kind there were per station.

To DTG: I'm not sure if the last guide and amount of annoyed people at you for the locations of CSX: HH is what pushed you to put these collectables in logical locations, but if it is the case, thanks for the thought ;) please doing it this way. BUT dispatch batons seemed to be untextured and sometimes couldn't be spotted while walking, such as the one in Paddington Station (on the concrete bumper), Maidenhead on the electrical cabinet or Slough on the window. Next time, either texture them (aren't they orange or something anyway) or avoid those extremely weird locations, it's a nightmare to find them.

PS.: Any questions, leave them below, I usually answer in the day or the following day. Spam and inappropriate comments will be deleted.

And yeah, I'm upvoting my own guide. Ahaha. 20+ hours of work this time.

Hey man thanks a lot for the guide. Just wanna point out you should add that the Hanwell is on PLATFORM 1, you have to run around the fence and get there. Thanks.

@tiokpo84 You can just pick a random timetable and stop at every station for picking the object. You just have to walk a bit after living paddington to go to Royal Oak as no trains stop there

Hi! This a noob question, but how do I access Free Roam mode to start looking for this? Is it Timetable mode, I pick a location and start walking from there? After a Journey the game takes you back to the menu, so I haven't figured this out yet. Thanks.

I followed the guide, twice, still with 24 dispatch baton... I think I'll give up...those collectibles features is not so well implemented, in my opinion...

I found the missing twyford sign....take the position the guide says above by the fence, turn around and head back up the platform and it's on the side of the brick station building in front of you.
