this is the most adorable thing i’ve ever seen 🥺 okay but lets take a moment to appreciate how thin and fragile a cats spine is and how easily it can get hurt……. PLEASE BE GENTLE WITH YOUR KITTY CATS!!! 🙏 don’t pick them up by the neck or the front legs or the tail!! those are all super duper sensitive areas!! 😹😹😹 this is the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen and also a great reminder to respect those kitty boundaries 💕 this is a great opportunity to remind everyone that cats have scent glands on their faces, specifically on either side of their nostrils, and near their lips, and on their cheeks just below their eyes. GENTLE PETTING ONLY, FOLKS! 🙌 don’t press too hard on those sensitive areas when giving affection, or you might just get a little head butt of DISAPPROVAL 😂 it’s like they’re saying, “if you touch my face i will definitely headbutt you” and i AM HERE. FOR. IT. : this is the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen and a great reminder to please not pick up your kitty by their ears or whiskers or tail or belly, all of which can be super uncomfortable and even painful for them!!! 🙅‍♀️ just, like. be gentle with your kitties, okay? 😻 and for the love of all things fluffy, PLEASE SCRATCH THE APPROPRIATE SPOTS!!!!! i mean, come on. those little pink toe beans are not for squeezing 😹 those are FOR WALKING and CLIMBING and generally being adorable 🙌 this is a good time to remind everyone that you should totally support your local animal shelter, and consider adopting a kitty from a shelter if you’re thinking about getting a new pet!!!!! 🐾
