Path of Exile is an excellent game for people who love games with depth.
I have tried so many ARPGS per say and none of them has scratched the itch that POE has giving me.
I have low hours on steam because I built a high end pc and switched from console to pc.
in short I've been playing path since Harbringer and can recommend this game to anyone.

Note that path has a pretty steep learning curve and it will punish you for making mistakes.
till this day im still learning new things in poe I didnt know and thats the charm of them game.

if youre new the game, i suggest follow a build guide on a budget build set up and there are some great sites out there to help you. Skills such as, mines, traps, totems and spell totems are a great place start IMO.
people will say not to follow one if its your first time through because it ruins the magic of it... I have to disagree here because a lot of new players get frustrated and leave and to be honest following a guide will help you get your feet wet and give you a better understanding of the game and it mechanics.
