100% this game in 16hours and loved it. the imagery is powerful and impactful and compassionate, sentiments of companionship, balance, environmental shift and adaptation balanced with preservation. the game did now have to go so hard with emotion, variety of scenery and weather mechanics and incredible soundtrack- but it fired a winner in all cylinders

Shadow is my favourite of the reboot tomb raider games, the story is interesting and emotional and I love Lara's relationship with Jonah, it was lovely seeing him with a more personal storyline.
The dynamic difficulty settings are one of the best demonstrations of accessibility and preference being executed brilliantly to customize your experience based on ability, needs and what aspects of the game you find most enjoyable. Personally I enjoy the easiest combat with hardest puzzles and navigation, and this game delivered on that completely.

absolutely wonderful game that was a pleasure to play through twice to get 100%. great story telling, good mix of decisions and quick time events but with the lack of movement required, it could easily have had better controller adaption or mouse only point and click. it would have been nice to have the option for longer response times as an easy accessibility choice, but still a 8.5/10 game for me

This game is one of my favourites of all time, probably up there with Zelda Ocarina of Time and Kena Bridge of Spirits. But this is not a 10/10 game for me. 8.5/10.
The music, graphics and open world map design is impeccable and it's still the most beautiful game I've ever seen.
However, the story telling is incredibly lacking and the way in which you are expected to progress is explained very vaguely in game.
The voice acting performances are top tier and character design is amazing; that is, if you even manage to find the NPCs and follow some very odd lines of enquiry to navigate their quests.
I love hidden lore as much as the next fantasy RPG girlie, and EldenWiki is a godsend but the work you have to put in will not be to everyone's taste.
My favourite flawed game.

One of my favourite games of all time. Music is next level. Incredibly difficult but never felt so emotional during a souls like before, and it's down 80% to the music and 20% beautiful character writing and authentic dialogue.
Oh and extra 20% rot hats.

This game has given me such a quandary. I really enjoyed a lot of the gameplay, the weapons, the enemy design variety, most of the puzzles. I liked playing as different characters too and seeing how their parallel stories intertwined.
However, this game has SO much that is a straight copy of Re2 and RE3 remakes. Valves, bolt cutters, locker combinations, even inventory management. So the game needed a good story to balance the review into the net positive.
And the story was great. In the end cut scenes and archived documents, but was poorly threaded throughout the gameplay. Great story, poor narration.

If you like the look of this game, just play resident evil instead. If you love RE already, this game is likely to disappoint.

On a side note, as someone with a laptop set up and migraine related visual disturbance, I found the choice of Font in the PDA, Storage units and documents very hard to read and highly inaccessible.

I loved this game. Beautiful setting and lighting, creative enemy progression and reuse around different environments. well paced story with emotional pull.
however the final boss was extremely difficult, requiring use of multiple ammo types and gadgets and the game as not really prepared you to juggle everything you have collected along the way, because each chapter has its own identity and one weakness
no spoilers, but loved the open aspect of the ending, filled with hope

this game is great fun with a lovely scottish soundtrack. i played out of curiosity as to Behaviours journey in game development and im super impressed. there are some really hard parts!! but i love the story and the gameplay style. absolutely sound game if you love Brave.
