Oh God, You who elevate the heavens high,
Extend Your hand, for mine is weak and shy.
When my paths grow narrow and my hopes die,
To You, the Giver of bounties, I cry.
If a friend calls, I'll never say "no", why?
For You, Oh Lord, will make my heart supply.
I'll serve my guests with all my might and try,
And hope that You will grant me from on high
