《爱上火车》作为一个galgame，它对于火车以及火车相关知识的介绍有点硬核，一系列的专属名词混在游戏文本里，满足了部分玩家求知欲的同时也势必降低了部分玩家的游戏体验。

除开过多专业名词的介绍之外，《爱上火车》的人物立绘并不十分丰富，静止场景配上较多游戏文本的时候不可避免的削减玩家的耐性，此外游戏配乐也存在单线数量较少，长时间游戏后容易单调的情况。

剧情方面《爱上火车》也并不突出，让八六再次跑起来这一个主线任务尽管遭到了各种困难，但是并不够戏剧化，男主童年的遭遇和八六的事故有关这件事也过于直白，缺少了一种乐趣。

但是尽管这部作品有如上所述的不足之处，但依旧很完善的讲好了一个故事，试运行的不只是八六，也是男主，出故障也是一样，都是男主和八六的一场考验，应该说《爱上火车》不只是让八六运行起来，也是让男主这样受困于过往，无法真正鼓起勇气前行的人运行起来的故事。最终车架换上，八六商业化运营步入正轨，男女主也迈开了属于自己的一步，是无可争议的he。

最后，这游戏原价可能有点亏，打折入还是很香的。
