This game ruined my life (partly).

I have played VRChat on and off since about 2021, i joined when i was freshly 19. i started as a quest user and got a pc pacifically for this game and i now have fullbody tracking. Over my time in VRChat i have met some disgusting people, when i first started playing i met somebody double my age who had children, he groomed me. it was made apparent to me that he liked children pretty early on, including his own. He used VRChat as his own sick way of luring children and he was never shown any repercussions and he is still out there, in game and irl. It does not matter if you think your children are too old or too mature, bad things can and probably will still happen, i would never in a million years recommend this game to anybody of any age. If you are a parent considering letting your kids play this game DO NOT, this game is not for children, the age rating means NOTHING.

This game has THE poorest moderation of any game out there and its incredibly hard to get banned even if there is public evidence regarding what that person did. VRChat mods favour and look out for each other no matter how sick their actions get/are. This is where all mentally ill, depraved people go to meet each other, this game even has its own culture and customs, it encourages people to drink, it pushes virtual strip clubs and erp rooms there is no escaping the degeneracy when you play this game and i myself am included in this, when i say this game pushes drinking i mean it, i didn't even drink before i started playing and the more i played and the more people i met the more it was pushed and the more normal it got, making me drink almost ever time i played. I ended up going to literal rehab all because of a game, this ♥♥♥♥ sounds dumb but its a real problem and happens to a ♥♥♥♥ tone of people.

I wanted to write this review because this game is ♥♥♥♥ and people need to know and maybe one day VRChat will actually do something about these problems but i doubt it.
IN CONCLUSION: If your a parent do not let your kids/kid play, If your already have or if its in your family to have substance abuse problems i wouldn't recommend you play. This game isn't worth most the ♥♥♥♥ your gonna have to witness.
