What is this? Why is it good?

Actually not as bad as some say it is.

This game can't run properly on my laptop. Had to set the aspect ratio to 4:3 and the resolution rediculously low (as well as all the graphical settings) to get it to run in a playable state. 9.5/10 (use proper hardware to play this seriously)

One of the best single player experiences I've ever had.

A fun game. Once you play it that's kinda it, but hey it's free.

Excellent game. All the maps are very good. Don't forget about the mods.

No spawn menu? I thought this would be some weird alternate version of Gmod, still fun but different, but no. Almost no entertainment value. The only thing fun in JBmod is prop surfing. That's it. This game would be better with more addons, and there ain't much of those. Everything this game can do, Gmod can do better. JBmod is just a novelty of source modding history. Play it once, understand the history, Then go play Gmod and actually have a good time.

Very good game.

A very good expansion of Half-Life. If you liked the original game, you are going to like this one. You play as one of the Marines this time, so you are experiencing the Black Mesa incident from a different perspective. There are also new weapons and aliens.

This game is of excellent quality. The game play is fluid and works very well with the environments, which are also amazing. The level design doesn't feel like it was made for a video game, rather, it feels like a real place. The story, for what's there, is mystifying and fits in perfectly with the over all sci-fi theme. Same can be said for the iconic sound design. The graphics are good on their own merit and even 25 years later don't feel out of place. The combat is strategic and challenging. If you have 10 dollars, might as well buy it.
