I recently delved into the world of Eco, hoping for an immersive gaming experience where I could shape the environment and collaborate with other players. Unfortunately, my time in this virtual ecosystem was marred by an abundance of issues, particularly concerning the staff's heavy-handed approach to moderation and the restrictive gameplay rules.

First and foremost, the moderation team seems to have a penchant for banning players excessively. It's disheartening to witness a community-driven game transform into a dictatorship where players are constantly walking on eggshells. The banhammer is swung with little warning, and the reasons provided often lack transparency. It creates an environment where players are afraid to express themselves or take risks, ultimately stifling creativity and the organic development of the in-game society.

Moreover, the stringent rules imposed by the staff are a major drawback. Eco is advertised as a sandbox game where players can shape the world, but in reality, it feels like the game is dictating how we should play. Forced constraints on playstyles and arbitrary restrictions hinder the true potential of the game.
