Why I Am the Best CS2 Player Alive (And Better Than s1mple)
It might sound bold, but I firmly believe that I am the best CS2 player alive, even surpassing the legendary s1mple. Now, before you scoff or think I'm overreaching, hear me out—there are some very specific reasons, based on both skill and mentality, that make me stand out above the rest. While s1mple has been the king of Counter-Strike for years, especially in CS
, CS2 has brought in some new dynamics, and I’ve evolved to dominate in ways even he hasn’t.

1. CS2 Mastery and Adaptability
While s1mple is known for his precision and inhuman reflexes in CS
, CS2 is a different game. The new smoke dynamics, subtleties in movement, and updated gun mechanics have leveled the playing field. Many top pros have found the transition from CS
to CS2 challenging, but not me. I was quick to adapt to the updated engine and physics. For instance, I’ve perfected the art of using the new volumetric smokes to my advantage. In several games, I’ve consistently outsmarted opponents by manipulating the smoke grenades, pushing through them with near-perfect timing to catch enemies completely off guard—something I haven’t seen s1mple do with as much confidence yet.

During one particular match on Mirage, I used a well-placed molotov and smoke combo in A Ramp that completely disrupted the enemy's retake. The smoke mechanics in CS2 allowed me to play more creatively, and my understanding of the new system was what led our team to victory. s1mple may still be learning how to optimize this new tool, but for me, it’s second nature.

2. Strategic Thinking Beyond Reflexes
Don’t get me wrong—reflexes and aim are key, and s1mple is one of the best in that regard. But CS2 isn't just about flick shots; it's about strategic thinking and timing. I don’t just react—I predict. In multiple matches, I’ve outplayed enemies not because I had faster reflexes, but because I knew exactly where they’d be, even before they knew themselves. I am always five steps ahead, whether it's anticipating an A-rush on Dust2 or predicting an aggressive mid-push on Inferno.

One of my proudest moments came in a high-stakes match where we were down 14-15 in a competitive game on Inferno. Instead of the typical aggressive play, I read the enemy’s tendencies throughout the match, understanding their rotations and economy. I called for a late-game fake that completely dismantled their setup. We won 16-15, not because of aim duels, but because I knew how to outsmart an entire team, something even s1mple occasionally struggles with in high-pressure moments.

3. Mental Resilience Under Pressure
Where s1mple has, at times, shown signs of frustration during tough games, I thrive under pressure. A critical aspect of being the best isn't just hitting the shots, it’s about maintaining composure when everything is on the line. I’ve had countless rounds where my team has crumbled, the odds have been against us, and yet, I pulled through because my mental game is untouchable.

I remember a match in which we were down 11-4 on the CT side of Overpass. The enemy team was trash-talking, my teammates were tilting, and things looked grim. But instead of getting frustrated, I stayed calm, gave clear comms, and methodically led the comeback. We won 16-14. It’s this mental resilience that sets me apart. No matter how bad things look, I don’t crack—I elevate. While s1mple has had moments of brilliance, he’s also known for occasionally losing his cool, especially when things don't go according to plan. That’s the edge I have—my head is always in the game, no matter what.

4. Leadership and Team Play
S1mple may be a top-tier individual talent, but CS2 is still a team game, and this is where I shine even brighter. I’m not just a fragger; I’m a leader. Whether it’s calming my team in a high-stakes moment or making the perfect mid-round call, I elevate everyone around me. I’ve consistently played as both an entry fragger and IGL (In-Game Leader), something s1mple rarely does with such success. I’ve led mixed teams to victories against highly skilled stacks, and my shot-calling under pressure has become something of a legend in my circle.

In a recent high-level match, we were facing off against a semi-pro team. I had scouted their demos beforehand and noticed a pattern in their B-site executes. I used that information to set up a counter-play that completely shut down their offense in the first half. By the time they adjusted, it was too late—we had already run away with the game. My ability to read opponents, communicate effectively, and adjust strategies on the fly is something that, I believe, even s1mple could learn from.

5. The Future of CS2 Is Here—and It’s Me
CS2 represents a new era of Counter-Strike, and I’m ahead of the curve. I’m not just playing CS2—I’m redefining it. While s1mple has his legacy cemented in CS
, this is my time to shine in CS2. Whether it’s utilizing the new mechanics to perfection, leading my team to victory with sharp strategies, or outsmarting the best of the best, I’ve proven time and again that I’m not just good—I’m the best.

S1mple has had his reign, but every era must come to an end. Welcome to mine.
