Cant believe there was a horrible bootleg rip off version of Party animals called "Gang Beasts" this game is and will always be truly better than Gang beasts....

There is no way Activision Took down the original MWII page to “Rebrand” MWII into COD HQ, but in reality is trying to silence all the people actually speaking out the truth about this game, It’s funny how Activision is trying everything to silence anyone who is speaking out the truth of how the current state of the game is rather than actually listening to everyone and fixing the game like they should and is instead worsening the game and adding more and more useless/P2W bundles like Homelander and Nicki Minaj and is too focused on making the next overpriced Blackcell bundle into the game

COD is officially dead

This is an Old review that was made in June 1 but i've decided to repost it since Everything that Activision has done to COD truly sickens me and i do not want anything to do with COD Anymore if Activision and the devs have taken this approach

TL:DR: Activision have ruined COD and have not fixed any of MWII's issues and instead added more issues, but this review should be read entirely.

Call of Duty has officially hit rock bottom as of recently

I've been a Veteran fan of the series ever since BO1 and would defend this franchise always, but after everything Activision has done to repay back to the few loyal fans of this franchise is absolutely disgusting and needs to be heard.

1. When it was announced that there won't be a COD for 2023 and that MW2 will instead receive a "Premium Expansion", everyone thought that Activision has finally listened to us and won't be releasing another yearly COD and instead allowing a 2 year live-service into MW2 and we all believed in this title which lead to MW2 being the Number 1 best selling game in 2022. What do you do now Activision? Maybe continue the 2 year live-service to make this the best COD since BO2 and continue fixing the game? NO. Instead Activision tricked us all and changes their mind that there will be a COD in 2023 and there will no longer be a "Premium Expansion" but instead a standalone COD release which all of a sudden became MW3??? (Which isn't even being created by Infinity Ward but instead SLEDGEHAMMER).

2. Ok so you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on the 2 Year live-Service and expansion, how is MW2 been? I mean it was advertised as the most innovative and expansive COD of all time. One thing positive i can say is this game definitely had more content at launch, but still we just got yet another Incomplete game that needed more content and bug fixes and SBMM is still is a huge problem that hasn't been fixed at all. While this game has received updates, it has been done very poorly and at a snail's pace. First Warzone/DMZ wasn't even here at launch and had to take a few weeks to be added and we barely get 2 maps a season, a few game modes and a small amount of weapons in which 75% of the weapons are locked behind the battle pass and are insanely overpowered so more players buy the battle pass and instead we get more content focusing on spending money in MW2 like Battle Passes, weapon blueprints, bundles and useless skins and operators like adding Messi or TimTheTatman which seems to be more of Activision's focus instead of fixing or adding content to the game. With all the problems being said, you'd think Activision might've listened to player feedback and try to focus on fixing the game and releasing more updates right? NO. Instead Activision doubles down and releases P2W skins for DMZ making P2W players have an advantage and releasing a £25 Blackcell bundle with a battle pass, Gold skins and Cod Points whereas before that would be the price of two Black ops 1 or 2 expansions adding maps and weapons to the game, and Activision hasn't fixed it's huge problems like the game still not having content and content that should've been at launch and the game CRASHING randomly but instead ADDING more problems into the game like ruining performance for this game, it's actually shocking that COD BO2 had 300 people work on the game and that game was complete with Expansions but this game had over 3000 people working on it but yet they are all incapable and incompetent of fixing the game and releasing content which basically led to players losing interest in this game and leaving.

3. With MW2 being a dumpster fire and players already leaving the game to play older COD games to have fun, what does Activision do now? They see their community and fans having fun in projects like SM2, X Labs, Plutonium or clients like BOIII or CoD 4X, you'd think they maybe should advertise their projects or support them like Valve if they are having fun right? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Activision took the biggest L and became Nintendo by basically sending cease and desist letters ordering the people behind these projects to take them down leading to projects like SM2, X Labs and the BOIII Client being gone now because Activision doesn't know how to make a good COD game and their community doing a way better job than them at making a fun game. These developers spent so much time in these projects and aren't even being paid by Activision to make these and are spending their time to create something fun so people can enjoy but Activision doesn't like to see their fans having fun so they kill their community and fans by doing disgusting tactics like this.

4. The breaking point that lead to this was the security issues, apparently ALL COD GAMES have a security issue that can lead to your IP getting Stolen or your account getting hacked, yes even COD MW2 their newest game is vulnerable to this issue and Activision is doing nothing to stop this. This just proves that they don't care about us having an enjoyable experience in their games but only care when we spend money on their store, they have billions of money and developers in this game yet they continue to disappoint and not let any of their fans have fun in their games yet Indie developers are able to do 10X better than companies like Activision at offering a fun and enjoyable experience. The fact that you can't even offer the bare minimum of players being secure and safe in your NEWEST GAMES shows how Incompetent, Lazy and Out of Touch you people are in 2023.

So after everything that has happened to COD and Activision constantly screwing over their community and fans(where Activision doesn't even deserve any of their fans) We should come together and just outright boycott MW3 releasing this year, yes as much this may sound stupid or petty, Activision is a company that only cares about people buying their games and receiving money and not allowing people having fun or creating projects and quite frankly should deserve a ton of lawsuits and their acquisition with Microsoft/Xbox to fall apart since Activision does not deserve their money or being apart of Xbox. If money is all they care about and not the player enjoyment then we should at least hurt their sales for COD MW3 to show that they should care about their community and players having fun instead of continuously screwing over their fan-base by taking down projects and not prioritizing the user's safety.

I miss when franchises like COD, Battlefield and Halo were good, i want to go back to those years.....

EDIT 28/7/23: Yeah im done with this game, the performance has taken a nose dive since i posted and apparently Activision is putting Nicki Minaj (A CRIMINAL) in the game, where she went to jail for illegal possession of a gun with the INTENT to use it, Also she did actually use the gun and the victim was left on the ground bleeding and was hospitalized after the incident, How comes Activision is putting a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ criminal in COD but yet NICKMERCS got removed because of a "homophobic" tweet (which wasn't even homophobic???) and despite this, NO NEW CONTENT WAS ADDED IN COD, Nah instead of getting an update which dedicates to more content, we gotta add HOMELANDER and other characters from The Boys into the game for MONEY and still barely added any content to be even called an "update",Even BATTLEFIELD 2042 has dedicated Season 5 to only be focused on Content and fixes with No New operators or nothing and has fixed many issues like the Performance, but yet no one at Infinity Ward is even bothered at fixing the ever-worsening performance, oh and guess what Warzone 2.0 is no longer 2.0 and is renamed into WARZONE??? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SHUTTING DOWN WARZONE 1 THEN??? Also just found out that COD MWIII for 2023 has been leaked that it will be MWII 2022 2.0, Activision im done with you, I don't want anything to do with this franchise If you are taking this approach, unless major changes are done, I do not want anything to do with COD anymore...

So EA decided rather than delisting Battlefield 2042 or V, they would rather delist battlefield Bad company 2 AND shut down servers for Bad Company 1, 2 and Battlefield 1943 as a kick in the balls, Thanks EA for still be a terrible company

Ubisoft, if your gonna come back at least add steam achievements or any steam features on your games and when you do finally add some achievements its on your two most sh*ttiest games AC Origins and Odyssey, all we have here is just another bare bones version of one of your games, also you what's funny? THIS GAME DOES NOT HAVE STEAM TRADING CARDS OR POINT SHOP ITEMS, AND BEFORE EVERY SINGLE UBISOFT TITLE HAD AT LEAST TRADING CARDS OR ITEMS TO PURCHASE FROM THE POINTS SHOP, I swear at this point your only coming back to steam for the money at this point and don't put effort on your releases, if you guys could put "achievements" in your garbage launcher, why not do it here??

Anyways the game is fun but can be frustrating at times and while im happy that the game is now on steam so i dont have to buy it on their dogsh*t launcher or that EGS Crap, It comes with a huge price of a basically stripped down skeleton version of the game
