Its an extremely fun game. but a word of warning, youll need to look into a free update to be able to get it running. Which is simple and straight forward. Id recommend looking it up on youtube.

Despite that, the game was really fun, and using your cool time powers in combat was engaging. It has cool bullet time, stoping time, and reversal. While the other two powers had meanigful uses. Slowing down time uses less resource cost. While stopping time is does consume energy, but allows you to steal enemy weapons as well as shoot it out of their hands, and even gives your health regen a kickstart. Reversal does allow you to prevent grenades from killing you, but its main use is with puzzles, i wish its usage had more potential and reason to use it. Even so, the gunplay is smooth and enjoyable, and the weapons are pretty cool. I especially enjoy that some enemies have time powers which are counteracted with yours, giving it an almost puzzle element to battle, while not being so overly complicated that it becomes a bore.

**semi-spoilers**
My only real complaint is the BBEG (big bad evil guy) who has a time suit doesnt ever utilize it against you during his boss fight, yes destorying his huge fortress of doom is cool, but him not using his powers to counter yours is kinda wild. A final showdown against him using his powers to hinder yours would be awesome. Neither of you are soliders but scientist, so a battle of "Wits" would be awesome, finding a way to use your powers to outsmart him woulda been cool, but no he kinda just dies along with his fortress. But I can forgive it because the game is still fun. Just has some wasted potential

Monster Bullets? Not quite. You use regular bullets to kill monsters lmao. But in all seriousness this game is really fun. It does have a few flaws, but they arent major. Like for instance the game wants you to strafe, to avoid monsters but sometimes the levels are to narrow and you have to back track, but zombies will spawn and block you off. But other than that, the game has a fun mechianic of using the proper bullets to kill the proper monster. It goes into the idea of creatures having a certain weakness which you must exploit to defeat. I would totally recommend. It even has multiplayer! which I have yet to play unfortunately. But i imagine its the same goodness but with friends

Have you watched a youtube video of the choices and outcomes? Then no. However, do I recommend these games? Yeah of course! but only if you go in blindly or semi-blindly. The experience comes from your choices as a player. Does it affect the outcome? Sometimes. But the experience comes from how the story unfolds, which is still pretty awesome. And because of that, these games have replay value to see all the outcomes. If that isn't your thing, then idk what a youtube video haha. Even then, i recommend playing it to see how it unfolds you verse your friends.

I'll start by saying if you think it looks interesting to get it. I don't think its completely terrible but has some features that hold it back. The animations are decent but a bit rough around the edges just like some gameplay elements. It becomes more difficult by the enemies becoming bullet sponges, which is never a fun way to go abou "difficulty" because it feels like more of a chore than difficult. The enemies are predictable as you can see where they spawn, which isn't too much of a problem, but they also run straight at you, it would be much better if they would try to dodge your attacks and attempt to flank you. It would also be nice if the enemies had reactions to being shot even if they just flinched. It would really beenfit that the levels be shorter, the enemies more engaging to fight, and potentially have the player fight in an "arena" and once the enemies are beat the player can move on.

I know I went on a spew about some flaws. But other than that the game is pretty okay. It has a good weapon variety with some neat mechanics that work pretty well. I do like the graphics of the game, it does look nice and looks smooth on the gunplay end of things. I think its a good idea that hasnt fulfilled its ful potential. It has a good atmosphere and world building. I'd say the lack of enemies is a weakness, but i dont think thats inherently true, the early cod zombies only had zombies. And this game seems to be based on that. Though it wouldnt hurt if they added more variety, but the main goal should be to make your base enemies interesting before adding anything new

It's an extremely fun game with a bit of trial and error. But it allows you to learn and come up with strategies on how to beat the levels. It isn't overly complicated, but thats where it strives, its simple and straightforward fun. I know its inspired by time splitters but I've never played them, with that being said - It's still a fun game. You go to many different time periods with a nice variety of weapons.

The story missions are very short and you'll complete them pretty fast. But the challenge modes take up a majority of the time. But they're different then the base story, bringing a new challenge for the player to accomplish. That or allows a change of pace from the standard gameplay, in one such mission you fly a helicopter and gun down enemies.

Oh yeah by the way, its already had one free DLC. So its very consumer friendly! So yeah, if you wanna know if to try it or not ask your self - does it look interesting? If so then buy it, what it shows is definitly what you get.

Overall I'd say its worth a try if it peaks your interest. Overhalf the game seems pretty fairly balanced and shouldn't be to hard, but even then there's a save state if you need it. It is kinda enjoyable but the enemies can be a bit of bullet sponges.

I will say the final level is a jump in difficulty out of no where, there are annoying enemies that are bullet sponges and you dont get enough ammo or room to even be able to dodge them properly. One section in particular has these shadow enemies that can take and dish out damage. The only way I was able to defeat them is with the melee which stun locks them. that seems like a huge level design flaw. But, overall the experience was alright.

The best thing this game has going for it - atmosphere. So if you dig that, this game is worth a try.

This game is very reminiscent of the original F.E.A.R in level design, there are battle arenas which allow you to choose how to engage in a battle scenario. The campaign is awfully short but very enjoyable. It does have some replay value with the survival missions and other special modes. I'd argue the missions have replay value because the enjoyment I had gotten out of them. Each mission really standing out as unique so there's a reason to choose a certain mission. Not to mention there are customization options which are rewarded for playing certain difficulties/missions, which is awesome so if you're already looking for more content their are challenges you can take up which you're rewarded kingly for.

If you enjoy action games, more than likely you'll enjoy this game. I'm just a random on the internet. But hey, if you're thinking about getting this game, I'd highly recommend. Its easy to hop into and enjoy yourself (But if your here for a more chillax experience don't play on higher difficulties lol. Fun, but challenging - in a fair way)

Early Access Review
While playing this game was in early access, which mean it will only improve from here on out. The game is enjoyable and straightforward. If you like CoD zombies you should at least give this game a try. Furthermore, if you like boishock I'd give it a recommendation, as it has a similar aesthetic. The gameplay loop is fun and I found it enjoyable and I like that there are new enemies in each map which has a neat design. It does have some flaws, the movement feeling a bit stiff and sometimes weapons don't always hit when they should
