For an indie game, this is really good for horror.
Scares were good, and the setting was nice
the only thing that i could say was not so good was the back and fourth but that isn't that bad either
overall solid buy to play for a couple hours

Actually really well put and fun to play. if your a fan of vampire survivors or just a rogue like survival game with zombies its perfect.

Rating it a negative for the simple fact that the bots GRAB way to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much

Game doesn't work at all. trying all settings. even in safe mode, all it does is crash.

This game is being slept on incredibly hard and it sucks

Okay this is coming from someone who hasn't played a Valkyrie game before so take this as a casual's perspective.

- combat is fun. very nice transitions from move to move and feels very rewarding pulling off combos
(though there is one weapon that is absolute cheeks so if you play it, you'll find out soon enough)
- story is very good. kept me engaged throughout the whole thing, even the side stories were nice too.
- OST is amazing (enough to bring a tear just from listening to it). honestly one of the best OSTs i've heard in awhile. fits VERY well with the game
- the graphics are pretty good. not mind blowing but definitely conveys a magical tone to the game. but the characters have really nice polish to them. very well done

there are some faults that you will notice but honestly i enjoyed the game way to much to let that stop me from liking it as much as i did.

seriously. play this game if your looking for a hack 'n' slash, story driven, square enix game that isn't final fantasy. it really is good and honestly i am sad that i beat it because that means ill have to put it down now. but definitely up there in my games that I've really liked.

running with a VERY high powered PC. running all previous Call of Duty's on max settings with no problem. i have had more crashes than should be possible. even now before making this review i have had 3 crashes within 30 minutes. Not to forget the numerous times the FPS has dipped so bad i assume my game HAD crashed but shortly after it goes back to normal. Also playing with friends is almost impossible due to the crashes becoming more apparent when partied with a friend.

Its a very fun game but i would personally wait until there is a sale or the game is further polished because these crashes and dips can really ruin your night. Especially if you are trying to play with a friend.

Edit 5/7/23: I still do not recommend the game. even with all the updates this game gets. it still has random crashes during game play.

Edit 7/24/23: this game still runs like absolute garbage. theres no more crashing BUT now theres constant stuttering, frame dips, screen freezes, and graphical issues in matches everywhere now. id rather deal with the crashes at this point.
They fixed it for about a week and as soon as they released a new update it all went to ♥♥♥♥ again.
