This is the first survival horror and Resident Evil game I've played, and this game is so good that I think I am now a fan of both of those things. The story and world are just so immersive. The combat is great, and the inventory management is excruciating in a good way. I'd say the weakest part of the game is the low difficulty puzzles, but compared to everything that is good about the game it doesn't matter at all. I highly recommend that others try it, especially if they can get it on sale.
