Pizza Tower is my favorite game that I've played this year, and I don't expect anything to dethrone it. The movement in this game is so fun, so quick, and so genius in its design that it has spoiled me on any other game that doesn't come close to the fast-paced gameplay Pizza Tower provides. The level design is very well done, the soundtrack is amazing and immersive, the characters are all charming and entertaining, and despite doing almost everything there is to do in Pizza Tower, I feel like I could pour another 70 hours into this game before I get tired of it for a little while.

The sheer adrenaline rush I got from getting the highest rank on John Gutter for the first time was enough for this game to be a 10/10, but the game having five worlds' worth of levels that are all unique and incredibly satisfying just makes it all the better. I don't know if this is my favorite 2D platformer of all time, but it's pretty close.
