A lot of words for 'my start didn't work so i ran repeated it several times while running away in the hopes it would'. Did I miss something?

It is pretty boring. I've yet to figure out a better strategy for that matchup, though; two spears are hard enough as is, and when you swap one for a pike with its frame one stagger on the running R1, outspacing is virtually impossible and anything without hyperarmor is doomed to be interrupted the moment you swing. If you've seen anything that had greater success against such a combo, by all means let me know. I'd love to play something a little more interactive!

Oh, the 'I only walk away and swing my claymore-hyperarmor-build once and if it does't hit I run/roll away, repeat ad nauseum' player. Yeah I remember. Boring.
