Sonic is back and this game has been far better than what the first couple of trailers showed. First the soundtrack, while different to meta era sonic games, slaps. The titan themes are some of the best songs from the entire franchise. The story isn't exactly something to write home about, it is still far better than that of sonic forces and sonic colours. The gameplay is a nice mix of the boost formula and the adventure formula. If this game was called Sonic Adventure 3, i would not think that it's not an actual adventure game. The islands are a bit empty other than the miniboss encounters. The third and fourth islands are the worst but they aren't bad. If you're a fan of sonic then i highly recommend this game. Its my 3rd favourite sonic game behind sonic mania(2nd) and Sonic Unleashed(1st).
