In my opinion this is the best total war game despite being well over a decade old now. The campaign map mechanics are very deep when it comes to the building system, the way population and the economy overlap and managing family members who gain and lose traits dynamically based on what they're doing and much more that I could be here yapping about. The battles are top tier as well in terms of the way the units feel and how morale is an incredibly important factor rather than unit stats in some of the newer games. Definitely recommend this entry in the series!
