I may have only played 16 minutes but I’ve already seen plenty of things
The entire class room was T posing, load times were above 20 seconds long
Audio not synced up properly, the stuttering and lag was insane even in just the cutscenes. Do not buy it yet. Wait. I plan to change this review once they update the game and fix these issues.

Unless you're using mods its a very bland and shallow experience that shows its age

I have just completed this DLC on hardest and i gotta say this definitely is far more balanced than whatever the hell dlc2 was in 6 xD

Some missions were kinda a joke like m15 which to be fair was to show off the new robo kaiju vehicle, but it is a great mission pack all around, I’d argue the best EDF one period!

That final mission too was PHENOMENAL! Very tough but fantastic!

I DO love that difficulty based rewards have truly come back though with the Positron cannon weapons. They pack a serious punch!

WB2 is definitively Yukes redemption arc for their EDF games. Started off very poorly with Iron Rain then improved with WB1 and now have really hit gold with WB2! I REALLY hope Sandlot or D3Publisher takes notes for the next mainline EDF entry with some of the mechanics, especially more in-depth weakpoints n creative enemies. Primer Centipedes, Invader Colonists, Ravager Scylla, Ravager Sideros and Aggressors Bees?! They all look amazing!

They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ nailed this game in the bag all around and this DLC is the icing on this amazing dessert

Ended on a much better note gameplay wise too compared to 6

Don't get me wrong I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ afore 6 but dlc2 being the last thing you'd do left a sour taste in my mouth. It should have ended on something like this.

I definitely hope Yukes makes a World Brothers 3 and go beyond!

The hardest EDF experience to date afaik
Pure brutality and chaos
This is for the elitest of soldiers in the EDF!
Those who have the skill and talent to survive it are rewarded with weapons unmatched in power. Weapons that make the max level base game weapons look like a bunch of toy nerf guns.
This DLC is set in a combat training simulator managed by an AI named Malice, whose dialogue will constantly mock your efforts.
“Please change the difficulty to easy mode.”
“You piece of ♥♥♥♥. Die.”
Her dialogue is golden in this endless fire of hell
BUUUUT as a huge EDF fan I adore the challenge. BRING IT ON MOTHA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!! EDF! EDF!!!!!

Much much better than the first game! Bigger enemy count, maps seem a big bigger, more maps, more returning enemies, we get to fight some of the motherships actually too now!
If you liked World Brothers 1 you will love this one! Bigger campaign too! Over 100 missions, I think 200 brothers n sisters to collect, many of the DLC ones from WB1 are now base game too! This is awesome! Lower price point at $50 is honestly a better price point for EDF too

An epic account is also not required for Online play. It is optional for online play.

Super challenging stuff! You should have at-least played thru the basegame on Hard, hardest and a but of inferno before attempting the mission packs. They’re intended for the toughest of tough after all. The new weapons are all super awesome too! Mant returning dlc weapons and plenty new too! DLC2 will be A LOT tougher though. DLC2 has a length equivalent to half the basegame of EDF5. Its super long and SUPER tough. Its your final challenge. DLC1 is intended to be more story focused as you probably figured. DLC2 is less so and more challenge and gameplay focused

Music is great so far and online but whats up with the lag? Its insane

This is superior to 5 in every way! More missions, more bugs, more enemies, more weapons, more everything! The only “downside” is that you need to sync to your Epic Games account, which literally takes 5 seconds. The people who are review bombing this game are making it a bigger deal than it really is. It hurts to see EDF6, which was in the top sellers damn it! To mostly negative reviews. Granted The publisher could have put more info out there instead of a single article a few weeks back, but this is ridiculous guys.
Outside of that one minuscule problem this game is superior. And you’re gonna let it get tossed to ♥♥♥♥ because of that?
This is NOT like PLAYSTATION and Helldivers. No regions are being locked out! Everyone can play this game. Its not a big deal! -_-

EDIT: The AMD crashes are fixed, an EPIC account is NO LONGER mandatory. Several fixes have been implemented towards existing gear, and more to come judging from SteamDB
