I played the demo on this and really did not like it, a few friends are playing and encouraged me to try again. I'm really glad I did. I'm loving it :)

Things I like: 1. The load time is so much faster the HF1. 2. The snapping to grid is amazing. 3. Being able to make so many color choices and patterns! But they also have a few quick options if you don't want to do all that. 4. You can reach so much further now when painting and placing tiles or panels. 6. No assembly for bathrooms! I know some people liked that aspect but it drove me nuts to spend so much money only to find the tub won't fit, or something is wrong way, etc. 5. The houses are all different and you can change about anything you want on them, almost.

Things I'm struggling with: 1. The painting is terrible, makes me bonkers. Hate it. I have found that using keyboard commands is better then with the mouse but it is still touchy. 2. I miss the buyers with all their persnickety comments lol If there is a way to see what buyers are looking for, I haven't seen it. 3. Before and after pics, I loved those and they are gone :( It would be cool if we could take our own. 4. I think the tutorial could be better..I spent a lot of time looking up youtube videos on how to do stuff.

I know there have been many comments about furniture but I'm okay with this right now. The dev team has always been great with free updates adding so many things. I'm also sure there will be DLCs released with more items. If you have all the DLCs and the amazing updates on HF1, it is a shock to the system with how little we have...but I have faith that there will be more :)
