Ingredients:
• 400g spaghetti
• 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 1 tsp red pepper flakes
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
• Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. Prepare the sauce: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
