Monster Jam Showdown is a high-adrenaline racing game and brings back the Monster Jam name since Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 since 2021, that time developed by Rainbow Studios. While this time it’s developer Milestone who has passed the baton on and gotten hold on the Monster Jam license. At the first impression, the game brings back the Monster Jam Path of Destruction feeling. But digging deeper under it’s skin is where you will find the game is not as flawless as it might seems to in the first place.

The game introduces you to it’s Showdown Tour where you are greeted with 3 locations (Death Walley, Cololardo and Alaska), and there is 3 game modes you will be able to choose from. What is Circuit Racing marked in red, Short Track (1v1 or previously called head to head racing) marked in green and Stunt (formally known as Freestyle, the classic Monster Jam experience) what is marked in blue. The different locations and track designs is interestning by first glance but after a while it can get quite repetive with little to no variation. Where you are just repeating the same tracks over and over again. Would love to see some stadium circuit racing tracks or some city tracks to spice things up a bit, and not make the game experience so bland and stale.

There's a ton of annoying aspects with Monster Jam Showdown. I could go on and on about how the ai constantly push you around with ease in races but when you try to push them they stay still like a brick wall or how if you topple over in freestyle you have basically no chance to keep your run going as your combo ends instantly. Also i won’t forget to mention that your monster truck will get sucked into barriers if you tap them slightly making your truck glitch out and flip uncontrollably.

Overall. Great roster (40 trucks included with various liveries/skins for most of the trucks, with more getting added in post-launch Season Pass), good gameplay, but a lot of weird things about it that are annoyances that bring the game down a few spots. The game is not bad, by any means. But everytime I play it I can't help but think about how I could be playing Urban Assualt or Path of Destruction instead with how frustrating the game is. Even if i did pay $35 or so while it’s being on sale i still feel a bit ripped off given how unpolished and unfinished this game is.

And given this is Milestone we are talking about, and given how they like to operate. I’m then not suprised that we will see a 2nd or 3rd installment to this series as a cheap cash grab if that was to ever happen before they will even attempt to iron out some of it’s issues the current game has.

PROS:
+ Delivers a great Monster Jam experience,
+ Big truck roster

CONS:
- Uninspiring progression system
- Becomes quite repetetive
- Overall a broken buggy mess

Overall - 6/10

It's UNO, nothing more is needed to say. And again, it's Ubisoft so you know what to expect. Fun to play with friends but getting randomly disconnected can be a a pain in the ass, and the same can be said about Ubisoft's launcher Ubisoft connect.

Party Animals follows the same footsteps as party fighter/combat games like Rubber Bandits, Gang Beasts and Super Smash Bros. Where you are fighting as minature version as animals. The game itself is a blast to play with friends with a good variety selection of maps to play on. There is also additional game modes to choose from appart from the regular fighting gameplay. The sound effects is also a nice touch from a freezing snow blizzard to wind blasting past your character while walking on the wingtips of a airplane makes it a even more nerve wracking experience than anticipated while fighting out for glory against your friends. To put it simple, this is a combat game similar to Gang Beasts, but with way better graphics and simpler gameplay. So no need to be button mashing 20-30 times to acheive your wanted commands for your character.

PROS:
+ Unltimited fun to be had with your friends

CONS:
- The game is online only, so a internet connection is required at all times

Overall - 8/10

A Way Out captures a breathtaking story of two men named Leo and Vincent. Where your goal is to escape the prison and start a new life in freedom. The game itself is co-op, so it would prefferbly be played and enjoyed together with a friend. The story captures choises with alternative outcomes for each scenario what makes this game a very interestning experience to play through. The game also features 2 alternative ending to the story, where me who rarely gets emotional while playing story games was left in tears in my eye witnessing how each ending unfolded. This game is a must play for any story enthusiastic gamers out there. This is a experience what will not dissapoint you by any means. This game is all in its own rights, a masterpeice. It's simply a masterpiece, nothing more is needed to say. Would love to see a sequel to this game.

PROS:
+ Breathtaking story
- Interestning gameplay mechanics

CONS:
- Nothing bad to say about this masterpiece

Overall - 10/10

Everyone's favorite Sony mascot Sackboy is back in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, but this time with a twist. Instead of a 2D platformer, Sony inovents itself to create a 3D platformer. For some it might be a fun twist, but for me this game resembles Super Mario 3D World too much for it to be a enjoyable experience. The game simply doesn't capture the Little Big Planet feeling the fans of the series has been used to. It's a fun platformer no doubt when you are playing with 2-3 friends to discover the world together. But for those who is searching nostalgia from the Little Big Planet games, i would then rather burst some dust of your old Playstation 3 or download the RPCS3 (PS3 emulator) and play your fan favorite platformer that way instead to relive the nostalgia. This just doesn't do it for me. Fair, they tried something new with the 3D gameplay, but in my opinion it was the wrong direction to go.

PROS:
- Beautifull graphics
- The music throws you right into the Little Big Planet universe
+ A fun experience with multible friends

CONS:
- Doesn't capture the Little Big Planet feeling
- The levels is too short
- Lack of level editor to unleash your creativity is missing

Overall - 4/10

DiRT Rally 2.0 is what was supposed to be their spiritual successor to DiRT Rally. Overally the game delivers on expanding both the rallying and the rallycross aspects of their previous game. But digging deeper is where you will find it's flaws (listed in the Cons area). What makes this game not the spiritual successor what people makes it out to be. It's a solid game to play wwith your friends and have a laugh but i can't justify putting a thumbs up for it, but again it's not a super horrible experience so in my eyes it doesn't desserve the thumbs either (depends what you are looking for in a rally game) after putting 172 hours, and still counting due it's superb Rallycross mode. So all in all the game is between both, aka mid. For the rallying aspect this game makes me go back and visit it's original masterpiece DiRT Rally, where i feel the snow stages is more punishing and overall is a more polish experience compared to it's sequel.

PROS:
+ Alot of content
+ The return of the DiRT Fish freeroam area
+ FIA World Rallycross license including the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

CONS:
- Hate whatever bloom-filter they have used with oversaturated and washed out colours, made me motion sick in VR (i'm never getting motion sick really),
- The career mode is online only so that itself is a frustrating experience
- Let us not talk about their copy/paste DLC formula where 90% of the rally locations (not Scottland) is direct port/remastered content from the first game.
- The first game feels more unforgiving due to the snow banks can be driven through and is less punishing compared to the first game what takes away the realism

Overall - 6/10, the only saving grace of this game is it's superb Rallycross mode, combined with online multiplayer can lead to some intense exciting racing

Art of Rally is a a love letter to the golden age of rally racing. The guys behind the successor Absolute Drift is back with taking on a new motorsport dicipline, rallying. This game keeps the arcade and the same art style from their previous game, where the aim is to play through various championships across each era of the rally history (starting with the 60's then you are progressing to the 70's, 80's 90's and so on). The physics themself can be a bit wonky but overall is quite alot of fun to play around with. It does also have some realistic aspecs added aswell (like weight shifting and the difference in grip levels dependant on what surface you are driving on). Overall a well polished and enjoyable experience and a must-buy for any racing games fans, and mostly rally fans out there

PROS:
+ Overall a well polished and enjoyable experience

CONS:
- Would have liked to see more modern rally cars added alongside with a few more locations

Overall - 9/10, hands down one of the best arcade racing games out there

SuperSpec Rallycross is a alternative fun aracde racer for those who are fans of Art of Rally, Absolute Drift, Circuit Superstars or any similar games. The game itself consist of several cups you need to complete to unlock additional cars. Alongside the singleplayer, you also do get a splitscreen multiplayer option where you can play with 3 friends. The game itself was fun, but short. What doesn't make it for me is the lack of no online multiplayer what i feel is a huge missed oppertunity for this game. If you do enjoy similar rallycross games but would like for it to have a online multiplayer, then i would recommend RXC - Rally Cross Challenge. This game might appeal for the acheivments hunters as this game only took me roughly 3 hours to play through.

PROS:
+ Fun arcade racer,
+ Catchy in-game music
+ Various cars and tracks to choose from

CONS:
- No online multiplayer (for now)

Overall - 6/10, if the online multiplayer was added then i would have given it 8/10

This game is the worst game in Codemaster's history since F1 2015. The graphics looks like something from a PS3/Xbox 360 game, it can't even reach 60 fps (let alone 40 fps), ♥♥♥♥♥♥ soundtrack, boring gameplay and a bland career mode. The expectations for this game was low, but holy f*ck. The ONLY positive thing about this game is the easy acheivments, as all of them is connected to the single player/career mode part with a estimated around 12 hours gameplay time to unlock them all.
