Honestly, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales surprised me in a good way. because i tried to play it couple of times before but never really get to finish it, that until i decided to sit down and just brace it. and then.. what really hooked me first was the story it feels like a real Witcher adventure, just told from a new point of view with the Sun Slayer, United of Notrhern Realm, your majesty Queen Meve as the main character. The voice acting is seriously great, like CREAAAZZYY GREAT.. i take a great pleasure in it, every line sounds emotional and alive, which makes the story even more powerful. I also have to say, I never really got into Gwent when I played The Witcher 3, it felt confusing and kind of random to me. But in Thronebreaker, it finally clicked. The card battles here feel more fun and easy to understand, especially with all the creative puzzles and different scenarios. Yeah, sometimes the gameplay can get a bit repetitive and the performance on PC isn’t perfect (I noticed some stutters here and there), but the story, art, and characters totally make up for it. Overall, it’s one of those games that sticks with you, especially if you enjoy strong storytelling and that Witcher-world vibe. *still cant wait for witcher ciri, long live CDPR!!!
