I would just like to start off by saying that this game is definitely worth the money. I am usually worried about paying $99 AUD for a game if it's only going to be around 6-7 hours in length for the story. To my surprise this game took me quite a few hours than expected. First playthrough was on hardcore and it provided me with a challenge that wasn't too hard nor too easy, it was right in the middle leaving it as a playable difficulty, The mechanics of the game work really well, and I would say that performance wise, the game is optimized for a 2023 title. it's good to see that rtx 20 series and below haven't been left in the dust by 30 and 40 series. There is one thing that really bugged me throughout my gameplay though. I was playing on 1080p and I thought that the image looked a little too blurry and grainy for my liking, and there was also a bit too much shimmering from their AA implementation. Maybe this might be something that could possibly be fixed in the coming weeks or in the future or maybe it is intentional, but If any of you are playing on QHD or UHD with a beefy computer you're good to go. Nevertheless Capcom, another good addition to the RE series. A remake well done!
