Dota 2 is often compared to League of Legends but let me tell you : They are both completly different games. Where League of Legends is easy to play, hard to master, Dota 2 is on its side, is hard to play, hard to master. It is far from impossible and, I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed spending time learning the tremendous amount of mechanics that this game has to offer and I still has so much to discover!

The game is insanely beautiful and believe me, if you put your heart in it, you'll feel the same amazing feeling of wonder and discovery that I felt playing both League of Legends and Dota 2. To be honnest,, watching Dota 2 videos feels like someone explaining you the rules of a strategic board game and once I manage to apply these strategies, the game suddenly feels way more attractive and exciting.

I've only played 10 hours and I'm willing to spend more. For those of you who fear that they won't be able to learn by themselve, there is an amazing and supportive community and an excellent tutorial that guides you perfectly and allows you to play a game with someone giving advice in real time.

I would overall highly recomment this game but warn you on one thing. DO NOT INSTALL DOTA JUST TO TRY IT AND QUIT AFTER BEING LOST IN A GAME. Just watch a beginner's guide on youtube first, and install the game if you are looking for a good non toxic MOBA, and over everything, if you want to discover the amazing content this game has to offer.
In other words, if you expect the game to fully guide you on your first game, you'll quit. Just try to know about the game a little bit more before jumping in.
