Another week, another win for horror games. This week's game was Burial, and it dug me deep with jump scares, simple puzzles and an intriguing story. To start with, I hate cats, pictures, and meat now. Thanks Burial! The warning at the beginning was completely warranted. Though there are limited jump scares, they struck deep and kept you on your toes and made you keep guessing what is around every corner. Everyone on the developer team over at REVVALUTION STUDIO knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat and make you feel uneasy. Like most games by this creator, I give this one a 10/10. Great game. I can wait to play more

House of Lost Souls is an indie game by Arkuda Inc. This game is story-rich and has easy puzzles. Don't let it distract you though, because the scares are waiting in the most awkward of places. Just when you think the scares stop, another one is right behind the first one. This game is def one of this years most jump scare gold medalists. I give this a 10/10.

Another $3 game, but this time it has all the jump scares I love. With a short but rich story, this game dives deep into what traumatizes the main character, Mark. The setting is an amazing walk/puzzle castle and at every turn there is something that creeps and freaks you out. Definitely a game to play in the dark with the volume up. I can't wait to see what this developer does next. And the cliffhanger this game leaves you on makes you want more.
