The story is more likely a guided survival mode. If you care about side missions you sometimes have to travel very long which stretches the game a bit and turns it into a walking simulator while trying to keep your stats up. Still, the story is good and worth playing. The survival mode is just lovely and definitely worth playing thats why i totally recommend this game.
