Man, what a bummer.
First thing off the bat, this game is really poorly optimized. I've got a solid pc, nothing crazy, but I'm being honest when I say I get better frames in Ark Survival Evolved than this game. On medium graphics. Not to mention the handful of bugs I've encountered. It's frankly astonishing. I do hope in the future this is improved upon for other people's experiences, because by god does this chug sometimes.
Second thing, really really takes a hot minute to get going in terms of story, man. 7 chapters in before we see horror elements actually return since the first 30 minutes of the game. It's a bit of a chore to get through, especially with the long, unskippable cutscenes if you're replaying earlier parts in the game to attempt to get different outcomes. This game really takes its sweet time.
Third thing, I'm fine with mysterious questions to be had after a game, but this game had a *lot* left after finishing the game and watching all the endings. I really wish some aspects of the story was just a tad bit more clear to the player.
Fourth thing, the endings leave so much to be desired man. It's cool that there are a lot of them, but each one *hardly* varies from the other. Going through all these REALLY sucks too because the end credits are unskippable and... it shows the ANNOUNCEMENT TRAILER FOR THE GAME AFTER THE CREDITS TOO? WHICH IS ALSO UNSKIPPABLE? HUH???? I gave up after about 3 endings of this and just watched the rest on YouTube, and I'm glad I did since they hardly vary in the slightest.

All I can really give this game is that it has some... decent characters, beautiful graphics sometimes, and a cool premise. Wish it was more of a horror game than a mystery game, but oh well I guess. Wait for this game to be fixed, and even then, wait for a sale.

This is literally the best game I have ever played. By no means am I good at it all, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I had an absolute BLAST from start to finish. The gameplay is unique, fun, and the entire game is a perfect mixture of eye and ear candy. A really solid amount of gameplay, with a decently high skill ceiling as well. The story is digestible, the characters are wonderfully written and oh-so charismatic, and I love them dearly. Not to mention the amount of post-game content there is. Like. Holy crap.

I had so much fun with this game, and will continue to revisit it for who knows how long. Genuinely and honestly the best game I have ever played.

Game is not in a good state, and probably will not be for quite some time. The dinosaurs are cool, the environments are pretty, but it is just really damn clunky with too much risk of wasting your time on a boring experience only to lose it all in seconds.
