I've played this game for a few hundred hours now (tests) and the games biggest problem is alien, not because they are op not because they are weak but because they half baked. (alien main btw)

One of the biggest attractions to this game is the alien but as they are now they aren't fun to play as or against you hear a lot of players complaining about the balance but its almost impossible to balance something like an asymm (DBD TCM Evolve etc etc) and even harder yet to balance a game when one side isn't even finished.

But if you take alien out of the equation you have a very enjoyable extraction game it really is just tarkov but in space.

Hopefully when they finish alien a little further down the line they will hopefully be able to balance alien a bit more to make both sides more enjoyable.

Overall if alien didn't exist it as it does right now the game would very enjoyable but because alien is under-baked and unfinished it brings down the enjoyment level SIGNIFICANTLY.

So to finish I wouldn't recommend the game now in its current state hopefully a few more months/wipes I can recommend it, only time will tell.

Shatterline is a terrible game made by a terrible company (fraglab), fraglab had 8 years of development (soon to be nine) and 100 million in funding, despite having so much going for it them the game died and now the devs are implementing NFT's as a last attempt to milk more money from it's players.

There are many scandals and controversies surrounding fraglab allow me to list just a few;

One developer stated they wanted to unironically shoot children

The devs support cheating and exploiting in their game and even defend cheaters

They have admitted many times they do not care about their players and try to guilt trip them into further supporting them

They constantly announce new updates that never come then gaslight players who ask about said updates and make them believe they were never planned despite their being ample evidence showing they were planned

Now about the game

The game has MANY game breaking bugs, terrible performance, rampant cheating problem, lack of content (8 years of development and game is barebones) and when you purchase cosmetics or battlepasses you DO NOT get what you purchased (I and many others are missing many cosmetics after paying for them).

Terrible game , terrible company.

Avoid this game and studio like the plague.

I pray for fraglabs bankruptcy.
