Game is nice, the setting is a bit weird if you ask me, like you are playing as a spaceship and you suddenly go into a cave and temple and stuff. This feels a lot like Diablo and other dungeon crawler game than a spaceship battle game, like these places are for person not gigantic spaceships. These places are great for adding variety to combat and exploration.
Story is... a bit shallow, it would be nice if there are more exploration on the factions as well, some factions apparently don't get covered in the main story, the Imperius
Control is great, though it seems the more powerful your engines and bigger your ships be, the more likely you will be sliding across the floor so caution is needed when boosting (or sprinting) with shift. And the bigger your ship is, the harder for you to precisely aim your fixed weapons, and i'd like an aim lock feature for your turrets too, you can either let your turrets to fire at small enemies while you fighting your main enemy, or focus all turret onto your main enemy for more damage.
The bosses is fairly interesting, wont spoil much, but basically you have to move slowly some times, but it needs more variation than flying stat bricks.
Inventory system is nice, you'll get more tab as you play more, it even let you auto fuse with a button, though, thing like ctrl click to automatically move an item without dragging and bulk transmute items with one click would be nice. And a small lock icon on item's icon to differentiate locked items
Sound effects... its a bit awkward to be exact, it sounds like modern 8 bit game which feels off with the graphic the game provides, probably need other version with a bit more realistic sounds.
Overall a great shoot n loot game, some rough edges can be found but these don't affect you much.

Nice game, pretty cool visual, the stages and bosses actually sync very well with the music, especially the boss in level 5, the music is the strong aspect of this game.
The game actually have other mode to keep you hooked into the game, and practice mode to improve your skill.
However, there is no pause or quit button to retry when you mess up your 1 cc run in some sections, which is a big deal.

Early Access Review
The game can be really chaotic if you ask me
Well more variety of enemies would make the gameplay more enjoyable
Since it use complex enemy design, with some ragdoll physics mechanic added, with standard projectile system, coupled with very large amount of all things in game, the game can get very laggy, especially on lower end devices.
So if you experience some lags, well its a normal thing in this type of games when in Early Access.

Played past versions of Zumbi blocks before, this game is completely different, and is more polished than the old versions (e.g Zumbi blocks ultimate). Beware that this is harder than the old versions, as you can only unlock weapons through beating bosses (needed a lot of luck to get a gun that is op or you wanted) compared to saving money and buying a sniper machine gun in ZBU. More than that, the zombies have varied attacks, each become stronger and faster as time goes on. Bosses that requres sprinting a lot. I'd recommend to start on easy if you trying to unlock all weapons or Hard if you are unhinged.

Few things i'd complain about is that the game doesn't truly pause in Singleplayer, which can pose a trouble if you have untimely problems. And the game gets progressively harder a bit too fast, need to add some option to change the speed of difficulty scaling. Adding an option of toggle sprinting would be nice. Queen Zumbi's AI is a bit scuffed, when she lands on the ground level of Metalworks building, she just stand there like a statue until i shoot her again. She stucks on stair frequently, and she right now have too much health and damage on Insane (1 swoop of laser can clear 90% of your Health bar even though i dodged by Ctrl) Her laser beam can go through roofs even though the cover is blocking her shots.

A bit of nitpicking but an attachment system would be nice, such as scope, silencer, underbarrel grenade launcher, etc... . And more things to do would be nice (traps, placeable blockades, portable ladders, more regular zombie variety, shops, etc...).

Overall, the game is fun to play, however some flaws can make the game a chore to play.

Awesome game, this proves that any game is still good without those overused awesome RTX graphics, and gameplay (also game ost/music) play big part in things that makes games good, engaging and enjoyable, the coin combo and punches are easily one of most satisfying things you can do in the game.

Even though i've only watched some gameplays of Doom (2016), i'd say this looks faster and somehow feel more cartoonish than Doom (2016), but the combat is satisfying for me, though the control can be a bit difficult to remember but overall could be rewarding if you execute well enough, also thats a lot of platforming

Mods make this game more fun, as the base game is very boring, combat is horrible, and is horribly optimized, i guess Starbound is gonna be one of those "can it run crysis at 60 fps" memes. Also they must be spending money on their tea and biscuit instead of paying their employees and make the game run better, instead of loading everything in at the same time and running only on one core, make the game run on multiple cores, load necessary things, and utilize much of GPU as it can.
