The worst one in the series. A significant amount of time is dedicated to being a dad simulator. I would think the side content is better then the main story.

Ys 1 is pretty good. Ys 2 is defiantly not as good as 1. Both games have a theme of the areas being like a maze.

some mindless enjoyment

I had a mixed relationship with this game. I started it up and played for a good while but at a point I said I can not do this anymore. However I did come back at a point to finish it up. While the core gameplay is cool and fun the game progression feels very repetitive. That's not to say the main missions are bad but at times the game requires you to liberate certain sections of the map to continue the main story and it gets pretty tedious. I think the game would have been better if they did something like just cause 2 where you are incentivised to do side missions. Overall I do not necessarily recommend this game but I think it has enough good there to not dismiss it. Its like half and half. It really comes down to what the player likes and what they are willing to tolerate.

Its a cool short little game. It has charm but not a ton of depth. Still cool though.

It is basically Lego GTA and it works really well. The gameplay and story are fun. It also has various atmospheres. I wish they would make a sequel.

I like this game more then the first. The progression is less predictable then the first game. Just recently beating Black Mesa, it actually feels like that to an extent. The narrative is also more involved.

Cool game. It is pretty strict for awhile in terms of progression and story structure.. You are going from chamber to chamber and you know there will be a certain amount of them for awhile. The gameplay is cool though.

It is quite a fun game. Has that Bethesda charm to it. It is not as deep as New Vegas but it is still a great experience.

Its cool but daunting to get into seriously. The gameplay is suspenseful as you wait to have an encounter with someone else. The time to kill can feel very short depending on what weapon you or the enemy are using.
