The game is one of the best CA titles, with fleshed-out combat mechanics, features that other games just fail to include, and has received numerous updates over the year. However, there are many things that show with the decline of CA. Most importantly, the removal of the chat feature in the game, which has made multiplayer lobbies almost unplayable, because of the lack of communication. It is an act of blatant disrespect to remove a core gameplay feature from a game that has been running for years. Also, the slight but substantial worsening of the game over the years. CA has slowly made this game more controlled, like how after Rise of the Republic modding the game was no longer possible. CA has also removed the total war forums, which removes a lot of the community knowledge, and has been removing posts that call out the company for "spreading misinformation." CA, please fix your game.
