TLDR: In Stars and Time is an extraordinarily good game with a lot of care baked into its storytelling, and while the combat might be slightly lackluster after some time, it makes the story all the more appealing when you finally get to those beats.

ISAT reminded me a lot of what I loved about games like Undertale, OMORI, What Lies in the Multiverse, To The Moon and Grimm's Hollow; it may be the way your choices genuinely do impact the story like in Undertale and OMORI, however small or insignificant that catalyst was, or the way that there's a heartfelt message to be found within What Lies in the Multiverse, To the Moon and Grimm's Hollow, or the intricately crafted experiences that can be found in all of the games listed here. Whatever it is, ISAT makes it a point to stick to its theme and explore just how far it can go with the ideas around time travel, and it has been an absolute joy to be able to explore this landscape. Even if you sped through the entire game to just see the major plot points, you can see just how much care went into making sure that small actions have bigger consequences later down the story, and how our little Siffer tries to figure out their situation given their predicament. Objects you interact with early on gain so much more significance once you learn more about them a hour or even 10 hours down the line, and even the ""static"" NPC's feel so organic and dynamic in relation to the average character in most RPGs.
So overall ISAT is very well made and deserves the praise that it has received so far.

GhoulScrapers was an interesting experience for sure. Having played Rabbit Hole before I came into this expecting a fairly high quality experience and that was exactly what I got. Movement's snappy, deaths are fast and not horribly punishing, and there are very few sections where I felt like the game was just unfair (although to be fair, all of those sections boil down to a personal distaste to wind mechanics).
If you're a fan of celeste, speedrunning and/or paying your taxes, i'd recommend. Do note that the game is more of a hour long experience w/out any additional challenges so the other 15 hours came from speedrunning and 100% completion.

The game might be good, I need some time to decide though.
