Snowbreak is a fun little gacha game with interesting storylines. Some chapters are a real challenge and sometimes you have to grind a bit if you need enough materials for progression, but there is enough do task wise to help with that. The only gripe is that the game has been going through censorship and for the last few weeks the main story has been unavailable.

As much as I would like this game, the controls are absolute ♥♥♥♥. The combat when fighting is so wonky and slow I can never complete a mission because my character moves so slow, the time it takes to hit a monster and recover to make another strike is over 5 seconds and by the time I'm ready to make another strike, the monster has already done significant damage to my character. The game doesn't explain the controls either which confuses me when I try to heal my character or try to use any other potion. The premise of the game sounds interesting and fun, but the developers need to improve this game.

As much as I want to like this game, I have to thumbs down it. The game gives your character the weakest weapon and slowest responses while trying to fight an enemy that is faster, does more damage to you than you can do to it and has the advantage of a better range.

I really want to like this game because I heard the story line is really good, but one thing that is making me not like this game is the controls-- I'm literally stuck in the beginning of the game/story line. You have to use the right analog stick to make your character interact with items or do certain tasks and the controls glitch every time, the left analog stick is for moving the character. I used an Xbox controller, then I switched to my generic controller to see if maybe switching the controllers made any difference and it didn't. I recommend waiting until the developers get this glitch fixed before playing this game because you're going to be stuck in the beginning of the game with messed up controls like I am currently.

Mysteria Occult Shadows is a beautiful action RPG game, the characters and the story lines set the tone for the game overall. However, some things could be improved. For an early access game, the art and the overall look of the game is very beautiful, however, the graphics itself are very laggy and sometimes my character moves slower than usual while running. The texts that show while the characters are talking or when the game is showing text for the next mission, the words are cut off at the bottom of the screen and I can't read the last part of my mission, also a lot of the words are a jumbled mix of Japanese and English even when I set the language to English-- it's just hard to read back and forth between English and a language I don't know. However my biggest problem is that I am literally stuck on 'Land of Anomaly' because the Fire Spirit won't equip in my weapons inventory. On this level, you need the Fire Spirit to melt the ice on the bridge so it can fall down and you can progress in the game and the Fire Spirit does not equip, if it doesn't freeze up on you first. I've been stuck on this level for two years, whether this is a glitch or not, I don't know, but it could definitely use a fix. Overall I would recommend the game if they fix these problems that have been existing for years, but since it's been two years since my review and no updates or changes to the game, it's getting a thumbs down.
