Wow. I didn't expect to like Orbital Bullet that much. I got hooked from the get-go; it's so much fun, as I mentioned in my initial review. The common features you'd expect, like controls, graphics, sound, and music, are all good, but it's difficult to stand out and easy to be overlooked nowadays. However, Orbital Bullet has a lot more to offer than meets the eye. Even after 50 hours, I still learned new aspects about weapons and builds; the Eternity Tower is like a second game, with completely different progression system compared to normal mode. There was still more to explore and master when I went for the rarest achievements. Yes, learning is fun! In all honesty, I think this is a great 2.5D run-and-gun roguelike that improves upon the formula of 2D side-scrolling shooters in many ways and keeps you entertained for hours. 7.5/10

First impression: Fun. Orbital Bullet is the perfect combination of a run-and-gun game and a roguelite with a level rotation gimmick. It offers plenty of upgrade options and perks, has good pacing, and is very accessible. I don’t know how the endgame looks yet, but regardless, I’m having fun and will come back for more. Highly recommended!
