Really loved the vibe of this game - the music, art, and especially the voice acting. I also loved its folk horror narrative and mystery. It's kind of cozy despite the nature of the game.

Most of the characters however, although memorable, are so unlikable especially the main character herself.
That ending was definitely hers, Leonard Shoulder's, and Panswyck's fault, but she blames the wrong people for it (Jane, Mr. Briden, and even her own mom and dad). Her countless stupid decisions that inevitably leads to that ending is so frustrating. But I still enjoyed playing it.

I would recommend it for its great atmosphere, solid voice acting, immersive story, and if you love eldritch / lovecraftian horror like me.

As someone who gets easily scared, I can say that this game is very mild. Still got scared a few times at first though with the Slender Man following Umi around but I quickly got over it after one playthrough.
Had to finish it twice for the 2nd ending and the 10-minute achievement.

Coffee Talk is a brewing sim set in an alternate reality where fantasy races like elves, mermaids, vampires, nekomimis, etc. coexist together with humans. The game gives off a very chill vibe with lofi music and cozy weather ambiance while letting you experiment with different brews and listen to the characters’ stories.

Despite its fantastical characters, their stories are familiar and relatable as it mirrors the real world we live in. Listening to the characters talk and rant about their everyday lives while serving them warm drinks and occassionally giving them advice is somehow comforting. I’ve been so invested and attached to these characters the whole time I was playing—all of them are likeable, interesting, and relatable in their own way and I found myself rooting for all of them. Gala and Hyde being my favorites; they give the best life advices. <3

I also love how mysterious The Barista (us, the main character) is. Somehow it feels like we’re not the MC but just the NPC—someone who’s there only to listen and be a friend to the main characters and serve them their favorite drinks. We know all of the main characters’ stories but we don’t even know anything about The Barista, yet the ending reveal tells you that there’s so much more to it than what we think. It’s easy to miss this part and end up not knowing the mystery so I felt the thrill when I was finally uncovering everything.

Coffee Talk is the perfect game to play when you just want to unwind and relax after a long day and listen to lofi music with rain sounds in the background. The list of drinks is very extensive and it’s nice that they also included some cultural drinks from different parts of the world. I love this game so much and I’d always go back to it whenever I want to just chill or when I miss talking to my midnight café regulars.

Chef RPG is a lot like Stardew Valley in terms of gameplay and vibe but instead of farming, you focus on foraging for ingredients and managing your own restaurant. It's more addictive and less grindy than Stardew.

It's still in early access but it has so much potential and my experience with it so far is great. The art is cute and the game itself is very charming. Looking forward to its further development and hoping to see more exciting content!

Easily one of the best indie pixel games I've ever played.
Dave the Diver is such a delightful treat this holiday season! Getting this game was so worth it. Its rich and addictive gameplay, cute pixel art style, extra quirky cutscenes, and interesting storyline with a little mystery will keep you engaged all throughout the game.
