FINALLY WOOOOOOOO YEAH

Basically no lifed this dlc for a week, got on at 8am as soon as it came out and spent over 45 hours, it is downright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.

Arguably better than the base game, so dense and atmospheric with the coolest and most unique bosses. Anyone that says it's too hard is a moron that probably isnt playing the game right, make sure you use the scadutree fragment and summon if you feel like it, play the game the way that makes it fun for you.

Good to see reviews are no longer mixed coz im convinced everyone reviewing negatively was either just listening to braindead streamers or setting themselves superfluous challenges by not using the new levelling system or not summoning. Personally I didn't experience any game breaking performance issues and my graphics card is 1050 which is one below the minimum requirements so...

But yeah everything about this dlc makes me froth at the mouth and I think thats pretty cool, the story is wild like you aren't ready.

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for his birthday in 2022 , so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, made my character and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he summoned me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

When i first bought this game it was still in early development with a very simple concept, go down into the deep, dark caves and kill some ugly lookin monsters. Update after update added new missions, new guns and, in my opinion, the most interesting part, story and lore. I remember first hearing about The Warden when i joined the GTFO Discord and speculating with my mates about the meaning behind all the little specks of information the devs were giving us. With a great combination of ambiguity and facts, the game allowed players to infer their own meaning behind the events of the game. It was exhilarating going into each rundown hoping for more info about what the hell was happening. And although we completely sucked at the game, my friends and I found fun in just theorising about it. As the updates progressed it just kept getting better, and now in full release, holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥, it finally coming together, every mission is another step closer to finding out what happened. Not to mention the game has progressed insanely well, graphically, audio wise and it even has bots and matchmaking now, making it more accessible than ever. The gunplay, amazing. The customisation, amazing. The atmosphere, perfect. Story, insanely cool. As well as the fact that the hacking makes me feel like I'm masterminding a heist in Ocean's 11 or some ♥♥♥♥. This game is definitely worth copping, even if you haven't been there since early on. You may find it challenging, I sure do. You may find it tedious, sometimes it can be. But in the end, this game we only keep getting better, and its damn good as is. Could not recommend more. Near perfect game. Great, slightly hardcore, almost horror/thriller experience to get into with a couple mates o even by yourself. Just buy it moron.

Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ this game... Honestly this review is probably useless among the hundreds and thousands of other ones detailing the full extent of this masterpiece, but i thought i may as well say a few words on the off chance someone sees this. Words cannot describe the beauty and the wonder that every second of this experience includes, I've played the story twice, once on Ps4 and once on PC so i probably have more like 500 hours in this game but that's beside the point, both times had significantly a different vibe. Every little detail, every animal and noise brings a life i've never seen in any other game, the story is wonderful and not only that but the little mysteries and odd happening in the story immerse you past the point of, "Oh this is a fun game." it's more like "holy ♥♥♥♥ this game is my life now." When i launch the multiplayer i feel excited to get into whatever stupid antics or entertaining gameplay is in store for me, I get in and sometimes i don't even do anything productive, just jumping and throwing people off cliffs with my friends is enough to keep me happy for hours on end. So obviously yes, i highly recommend this game, it holds the record for most hours played in my steam library and most probably will for a long time, i cannot encourage you enough to get this game, it's beyond anything i have ever experienced before.

This game is great, simply put, it never gets old. To begin, The pacing, upgrade system and leveling is great, the prestige and overclocks, don't even get me started, every different combination and variation of weapon loadouts and equipment upgrades are endless. It has improved exponentially since release. I've had this game since Early Access and seeing it grow and improve with every update, every time i launch the game I feel a wave of calm come over me, i look at the new cosmetics, make some sick outfits for my dwarves and get to blasting bugs. Not only is it super fun, but all the little details are fun to joke around with mates about, every voice line, item you can kick and gun mod help convey the deep sense of passion the devs feel for the game. On another note, the music, is insane. If someone were to play me a song from this game, without any context I would be jamming out nonetheless, pair that with exploding alien creatures and jesus h christ is it cool. In summary, if you're considering buying this game, just do it. I highly recommend getting your friends to get it too.
