Dark Souls III is honestly one of the best games I've ever played. This was my first Dark Souls game and I expected it to be really hard, which it totally is; but it's nowhere near impossible, especially once you get the hang of it.
Dying and struggling during a boss fight is part of the experience and brings all the more joy and a sense of accomplishment when you succeed.
The game mechanics are easy to grasp and unique. Altering or resetting your attributes is as easy as it gets, allowing you to change up your playstyle at any point during the game.
Everything about it is perfect, from the astonishing music, to the depth of the characters.
The story might be confusing at first but soon enough you'll come to understand who you are and what your goal is, as a character; or you can ignore the story completely and still have a blast.
The lore of this game is next level. You can spend hours on end trying to uncover all the secrets about Dark Souls, it's universe and it's characters.
I've finished the game more than once, including the DLC's, which I also recommend, as they add so many cool new story elements, places to explore, bosses to slay and secrets to uncover.
I wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys RPG's and a challenge accompanied by a phenomenal story.
