Rainbow Six Siege is masterpiece of a game, but it does come with various flaws.

What is Rainbow Six Siege?
Siege is a game with a simple core. Get into the objective, eliminate all hostiles that stand in your way, and use various tools to get around the destructible map. Sounds simple right? wrong... What is part of this games charm is the various mechanics that go into getting around the maps and countering your opponent. You play on a round based game which switches you from offense to defense. Each side is given multiple operators with various tools to navigate the map and acquire intel. You are also given drones and cameras in order to scout the area to gain a leg up on your opponent. Communication is key and by feeding your allies intel you saving not only their lives, but you could be winning the round without shooting a single shot. Just remember that with every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That hole you created at a doorway isn't a free kill, both sides can use this destruction to it's advantage so make sure every one of your plays benefit your team and do not come back to haunt you. Dying is bound to happen and it is a learning experience. However, Death is not the end because your allowed to navigate cams or help spectate your allies and be their ears. This allows interaction and big plays that can come from even those who are down for the round.

Operators?
These are the meat and potatoes of the game.
Want somebody who is ranged and has thermal? got you boo.
What about a heavy guy with a heavier gun? mounted and loaded
How about a fast operator who can disappear from cameras? now you see him, and now you don't
Every operator counters and compliments another and this is shown by having one who destroys walls while the other shocks that same wall to keep the attackers from destroying it.

Destruction?
Easy enough to explain.
Is it made of wood or softwall? then it can break.
What about metal? a few operatives specialize it blowing that stuff up.
Got a sledgehammer? Hit the floor
Got a grenade? throw it at a barricade and watch the sparks fly

Is the game hard to get into?
I would highly recommend this game with friends, however if you don't know anybody playing this game then it is a very difficult game to get into. Even with this steep skill curve there are plenty of ways to enjoy this game whether it be playing casually or trying to win in ranked. This allows many players to enjoy the game because it encompasses as surprisingly large radius of people. Certain things like one shot headshots make the game unique but can be frustrating when playing against a good player.

Will I be playing it for a good length of time?
I came from Xbox and i am still dumping hours into this game! This is because of how Ubisoft keeps up support on production, the games meta changes quite a bit every season while still keeping the core formula enjoyable. Every season the game gets better with quality of life improvements and multiple new gadgets, guns, and personalities to join the siege.

Sound Design?
This is a crucial part of the experience and I would highly recommend listening to audio ques because not only is it cool, clever, and funny at times, BUT most importantly, it could be the difference between life or death.

Am I hopping on the band wagon too late?
NO! They made some changes to the way many store items are priced and have added other ways to unlock gear allowing new players are chance to catch up to the long time veterans. They reward many people who stick around but they also make sure that newcomers are also welcomed. This can be seen in the newcomer playlist giving brand new people a chance fight others who are also new to help dip their foots into the water.

What is the community like?
It's a mix of toxicity and chilled people. Casual has many trolls or people just messing around and this rubs a lot of competitive players the wrong way. However, ranked is "mostly" fine because most people just want to play with a team that communicates and doesn't complain. I say mostly because you will still have the occasional people who leave and/or blame their problems on others causing your team to throw. This is still a problem, but from my experience is that keeping a positive mental attitude can greatly affect your perspective and shift others who are frustrated and help them focus on the match.

Bugs, Graphics, Etc?
Bugs are definitely present and even casual people will occasionally see them. So far, any game breaking bugs that appeared Ubisoft was quick to fix so those are never much of a problem.
Graphics are pretty good and will satisfy nearly everyone and are not to heavy on a system to run.
Many good quality of life improvements to make the game fun and enjoyable to shoot and navigate.

10/10 - For the competitive shooters 8/10 - For many casual players

Early Access Review
This game has a stellar feel when playing, a few bugs aside this game has amazing potential and even though the servers are crap right now, i definitly reccomend coming back in a few days to see its health.
