The dialogue is voiced, which adds some incredible immersion and a real take on how the characters express given lines. There are currently only 2 routes, the other cast coming on in the future probably (I wanna do Diego so bad, fuf). All of them have different personalities, both reflected on their audio and their drawn style.

This game is lowkey a nice surprise compared to what I have played so far (and I have paid more for less). Particularly for a couloured skin cast (I absolutely dig this, I'm used to the mainstream light skinned choices to pick), this is refreshing.

A few improving points would be to make a better separation of the prologue from the main story, and I had one of Aureve's CG with the Nightmare Prince where she actually didn't have the correct hairstyle of her sprite. Besides these kind of inconsistencies, I played NP's route in about 3-4h, so there's enough content.

That was really good, artistically and plot-wise. +10 for GB Patch Games on my list.
It has some cruel turns, yet doesn't stray into an entirely "white or black" scenario.

Everything makes much more sense once you have tried a few endings, and I stand that Lu's route is the best outcome (and bestest boy).

Definitly worth it.

As others said, it's short and could get some extra meat in it, but damn is it well pathed and atmospheric. I would definitly appreciate a longer game of the sort ! Art is super pretty, and the surnatural horror was top notch.

PS : Try and get all the achievements :) And then play the whole game again. Just saying.

I'm checking on how to go there in winter 2024 during my japan trip !

Mostly story telling, bittersweet, very educational.

She's f***ing schizophrenic. You will not change my mind.

Plot-wise, it REALLY needs an entire rework. Some story parts are wonky, some moments are just ??. If this game is really into the mental illness/out of reality plan like schizo or drugs, I'd give it a golden coin. If this is first degree, MC's whole personnality and intelligence stat is flatter than my chest.

The idea of monster dates is always a good thing though, especially centipède boy there UwU

For a free game, it's quite complete and totally deserves the DLCs being bought (which I did).
The stories are fun, I didn't expect all to be different at first !

So I was taken a little aback on that. Both positively, and also negatively:

- I liked all the set-ups created, kept the gameplay fresh and new. However, having our MC being different, personnality wise, was a little annoying at times. Meaning, I feel better represented in e.g. Dimitri's route than Neil's, so it was a little complicated at times to get into my MC's actions.

- The personnalisation and the mini games are really enjoyable ! I made a few fits I'd definitly want to try IRL but sadly my skills aren't comparable to MC, ahahahaha. On a minus side, I understood later that the CGs were all "unique" (meaning, besides colour variations -which is absolutely great-, haircuts or outfits didn't play anything in it). Thus, I'd mentally tweak them to correspond to how I imagined my MC looking. Also felt like we only wore skirts around em boys (so I was super happy I got to read we had shorts a few times, buahahahaha).

- The writing, tho, feels the most unbalanced. I absolutely liked the plots, there IS quite a lot of content, but didn't feel like e.g. Neil's route had the same treatment as, let's say Caine.

Whereas Neil's route seemed to happen in a longer timelapse, it felt emptier. Character developpement happened, but then things dragged on and we get one erotic moment at the end. Caine ? Damn boy I'm not complaining because I'm weak for redheads with the "I can fix him" syndrome, but it also felt overly sexual by the last quarter of his route (I love his story a lot). Among all the routes available now, I'd say Gray got done the dirtiest by having one very interesting route (into BDS) which wasn't ever tapped into ! Super frustating to have things going on, and then just a slide into the following day saying they did the deed. *sigh*

- The extra content is always a plus. For sure my own preferences are the "years later how things are" but having any kind of extra into the story is always a bonus. I did really enjoy having Neil's POV story ! Would be cool if there was some about the other routes too, but also about his future with MC.

Overall, I'd still recommend this game for it might fit people, be it in all the routes (and some still to come!) or only a few of them (I'd fit it between 6 and 9/10 depending on the routes).
I want to find my own Dimitri because he's the best greenest muffin flag ever. Also dino-glamoured Eeyok because I'm down for dragonborns and the sort. Real bad. *cough*

The game is buggy as hell and the ending feels as if there could be some extra DLC/second game for some extra content on it (maybe not 60H-worthy of gameplay again, but could definitly add some cheese to this ham and bread sandwich that is ME:Andromeda). However, I definitly regret it a bit that I didn't play this earlier due to all the negative comments I've read about it.

This game. IS. NOT. Mass Effect (Trilogy).

It's a whole different game based more widely on the exploration side and the whole plot happens 600 years later, sometime during ME2 and ME3 (Hyperion departed before the Reapers appeared, and we learn a little bit about Shepard and the Milky Way's attack later in the game).

It was super nice to have family members in the game, the combat is very well made, and it is enjoyably dorky by moments. And the different atmospheres of the planets, absolutely gorgeous.
As I also said previously, my gameplay ended up having quite a few CTRL+ALT+DEL moments because the game froze or the missions bugged. Characters floating or running around before staying in their spot is also a thing but less annoying. Jaal's eye monitor disappearing in some cutscenes can be pardonned.
I'm still more disappointed they didn't make snu snu scenes for all the romance characters >:( (YOU KNOW WE ALL WANT IT, WHY DO YOU DO THIS).

All in all, this game deserves some love. Yes it could be patched, yes some scenes/aspects could be a little more fed so they would be richer to enjoy. But it still lives up to the vibe of the whole Mass Effect experience.

+ 1 from me, for this game.

Ok, it's an old game, with old controls, and old graphics.
But it's so fun to play and really has the whole MMORPG vibe down to a notch.

Of course some things could be improved (FOR EXAMPLE, IF I COULD CHECK MY EMAILS VIA A PM MENU INGAME AND NOT "DISCONNECT" "LOG OUT" "CHECK EMAILS" "LOG IN"), but hey gotta roll with what the game has to give.

As someone who does not know about the lore of the game (I'll check it sometime), I find the start of the story quite messy and hard to grasp, but you quickly get a hold of it and it really takes you in. I like how the characters grow, how they are portraied, and hell, even the old graphics started to grow on me !

For the whole content (it's basically 4 games as a single story line), I'd say the game is really worth is (when discounted, because we love discounts <3). Would be stonks if we ever get a whole remake of either the starting series or the whole thing :)
