I’ve played many games in my life – some are fun, some are a nice way to pass the time, and then, once in a while, there’s a game that truly captivates and moves you.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is exactly that kind of game for me.

Everything in this world has atmosphere – not your typical fantasy setting, but something unique, almost enchanting.
I often just stood still to admire the surroundings, because everything looked so beautifully and thoughtfully crafted.

The soundtrack had me hooked from the very first note.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a soundtrack this perfect – one that still grabs me, even after the game is over.
Most games have music you forget quickly.
But then there are games like this – where you still hear the melodies long after the credits have rolled.
The music comes exactly when it needs to, and it hits right in the heart. I got goosebumps. More than once.

The story was so much more than I expected.
From the very beginning, it pulled me in and never let go.
It’s not a simple hero story or some explosive blockbuster plot.
It’s about memory, loss, fear, grief – and the question: how do I face my fate?
The entire cast of characters felt meaningful – and I found myself caring about each and every one of them.
No one is perfect – and that’s exactly what makes them feel so real.

I hadn’t had much experience with turn-based combat before, and I honestly didn’t think I’d enjoy it that much.
But here? It’s different.
Every battle felt thoughtful, fun, and challenging, no matter the difficulty.
You have to stay sharp, react in real time, and rethink your approach with every single enemy.
It never got boring – not once.

Even now, I still think about certain scenes, specific music tracks, and lines of dialogue.
And that, to me, means one thing:
This game did a whole lot of things right.

To me, it's one of the best games I’ve ever played.
And at the same time, I’m already looking forward to one day starting it all over again – to relive it, explore more, and hopefully go for that 100%.
Because there’s still so much left to do beyond the main story.
