ULTRAKILL is what you get when you mix together ADHD and cocaine, with a little bit of funny sprinkled on top. It's not an easy game and there are a lot of mechanics, weapon interactions and timings to learn, but almost all of them you can discover on your own. The healing system encourages you to get close up to the enemy when you're low on health, rather than flee and hide. While your arsenal isn't as big as something like DOOM's, al of your weapons stay relevant even at the end of the game. The bossfights are done exeptionally well. None of the bosses are unfair, and a lot of their attacks are not hard to parry with some practice (exept the first [REDACTED] fight I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate that why are the projectile hitboxes so weird?), or easily dodgable. The style meter also encourages learning weapon interactions, since having higher style reduces "hard damage" quicker. The game mechanics (especially parrying) are extremly satisfying to pull off. Almost every enemy has a counter, either a certain weapon, weapon combination or game mechanic. And the secrets are also very rewarding, either with new weapons, bonuses, a fun/funny experience or challenging, but fun level.

Overall, the game is really fun and rewarding, and the price tag is at a very reasonable amount of money (I think it's maybie even cheap).
