I like that you really get to build the game you want to play, and adjust it to your play style. Sometimes I like to set up a base and just live there and continue to upgrade with horde nights getting more difficult. Sometimes I follow the trader quests and move from biome to biome, rebuilding and trying new base configurations.

This game has the most toxic player base I have ever encountered. The developers over the last several years have continued to make decisions that heighten the tension within the community, ultimately making everyone miserable. This game used to be fun, now everyone is just hanging out waiting for a similar one to come along.
*Addition* This is continuing to get worse as the developers have decided to revamp all the maps to be killer-friendly and bring out killers whose powers depend on toxic game play. BHVR has also decided to take a fun "hide and seek" game and give one side the ability to see the other side for the entire match, nulling any hide about it. This has affectively ruined the game and made playing the survivor role little more than an NPC for killers.
