I love this game. So much so, I happily play alone to de-stress and climb.

There is something deeply satisfying, cognitively, about climbing in general. It just scratches that itch. There’s real science behind physically overcoming obstacles, hiking, climbing mountains as a challenge and progress, and this game taps directly into that. At least for me. It can be challenging, and rewarding, I don't feel I can never get past a point in the game, even if a certain map seed was difficult, well guess what? It changes again the following 24 hours.

It's a great game with friends. I've had the most fun with the most diverse range of personalities, all of whom, on a different game, perhaps wouldn't click at all. The feature of reaching out to help a friend up is so cute. It’s a literal lending of a hand, mechanically and thematically, and it just makes sense. No one is useless, everyone can be helpful with that feature, even if you are half health, carrying four items and on the brink of death.

And probably the best thing of all, is that the developers LISTEN to their community and CARE. Like, how crazy is that? That shouldn't be rare, but it is. I am not apart of the people who try out new updates before they release but I know they exist, since I am in discord server. The social media manager constantly keeps people in the know about changes and why they happened. Even just briefly. It's very inclusive in that manner.

It also became a game where it is FUN to get achievements. Achievement hunters, I see you.👁️👄👁️ I enjoyed the game so much I be rocking the PEAK tag on discord and I bought the plushie. I am not a plushie girly but I respect the game, the team and the impact it has on me enough to buy it. Thanks for the climb 🏔️ see you at the top 🔝
