A good, fun game is being held back by a very bad PC port.

No More Heroes is a fun hack and slash, sandbox action, beat 'em up game.
A fun adventure in Travis Touchdown's life on becoming the number 1 ranked Assassin (so he can get laid)
It's goofy, it's funny and it's violent sounds just about right for a Suda51 game.

One of the best Suda51 games, I really liked this game and I want people to know/play these games but it's PC port is terrible and outdated. Some of the achievements just bug out/dont work, the game often crashes at some mission endings.

Biggest reason of NOT recommending this game is 'it requires user to be online' to play a single player game.

A very good underrated gem in Hack and Slash Action games.

My first Suda51 game which I had no clue what Suda51 games are, until I played this one. On surface it quite looks like an anime Devil May Cry with dating system/missions. But its more of its own different game than just a DMC clone with a very fun combat and decent story included.

You play as Mondo Zappa, an assassin who has job and the job is 'KILLER IS DEAD' where you take on contracts to assassinate different types of characters/bosses, with help of your companions Mika, Vivianne and Bryan.
Mondo has a mechanical arm that feeds on blood and can transform into different types of secondary weapons while katana being his main weapon and it feels great to use that katana as you slice through waves of enemies


Artstyle used here is very good, it reminds me of Persona 5's artstyle
Overall characters are funny+niche written and they are memorable : Bryan Roses and Mika being my fav ones

Overall it's a pretty decent game with a nice story and fun combat

If Suda Goichi-san or anyone at Grasshopper Manufacture is reading this review, guys I'm sure the fans would love a sequel of this game :D

This is the only EA and Respawn Entertainment title that I care about.
If you want a good EA game then uninstall that Battlefield 2042 and Apex 'busy making heirloom but not anti-cheat' Legends and play this game instead.
And believe in the Force.

Good Game.

An underrated Rockstar gem, sure it isn't as much as Grand Theft Auto games but it sure holds up to it's detective genre. There is a very good cast and voice acting/mocap performances are done really well adding certain traits to each and every character in the game to their habits and behaviours. The story is good and worth playing, there are some good DLC cases included like The Naked City. For being a game that was launched in 2011 this game makes sure to keep the characters in the game to act as 'alive' people using facial expressions unlike some modern Ubisoft and Bethesda titles where it's just reading out voicelines like a robot. There are some good songs to listen as you roam around 1940's representation of Los Angeles (And the map is huge)
Overall the game does best when it comes to it's genre: Detective, crime and thriller. Solving cases feels rewarding as if you're doing justice to keep L.A. a safe place.

Some of the cons I found : There's a DOF which you cannot disable entirely. Also there is lot of popping of objects maybe it's because their engine was old. You don't get to keep any of the cars that you unlock in collectables so IDK what's whole point of it. As long as any graphical issues don't break your detective realism and intellect, you're good to go my friend.

Definitely a worth buy if you find it on sale. This game is underrated and I would love if someone at Rockstar starts an idea of making a sequel for it. I STRONGLY recommend this game.

Great game with free DLCs, starts very rough at the beginning but as you progress you learn how to do quests and objectives. Graphics are very good, I love pixelated games. The story somewhat reminds me of Dark Souls as game itself is Souls-like. Soundtrack is dark and mysterious and tensed which I loved (Sleeping Canvasses is my favourite one so far). Voice acting is good as well. Platforming can be challenging if you're a newcomer but not impossible to master. Overall the game is solid good product.
Looking forward to the upcoming DLC in December and the sequel in 2023.
